Return from Normandy
Having secured the crown at Westminster, William crosses back to Normandy to be seen in his own duchy, leaving England under the care of his regents. The crossing is a statement: the Conqueror still holds both shores.
You return from Normandy to England, where the earls watch for any sign of weakness and the north has yet to be settled. The land is yours on parchment; the men who hold it must still be convinced.
