Information Collection and Use

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. This may include:

• Email address
• First name and last name
• Phone number
• Cookies and Usage Data

Usage Data

We may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used. This may include your computer's Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

Use of Data

8080.AI uses the collected data for various purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Service
• To notify you about changes to our Service
• To allow you to participate in interactive features when you choose to do so
• To provide customer care and support
• To provide analysis or valuable information so that we can improve the Service
• To monitor the usage of the Service
• To detect, prevent and address technical issues

Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to - and maintained on - computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

8080.AI will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. No transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place.

Disclosure of Data

8080.AI may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

• Comply with a legal obligation
• Protect and defend the rights or property of 8080.AI
• Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
• Protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public
• Protect against legal liability

Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Google User Data

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture to create your account and keep it secure.

Invite people from Gmail (optional)

"Invite people" lets you invite the people you work with to collaborate on one of your projects, with view or edit access, or to join 8080.AI. "Invite contacts", in Refer & earn, invites your contacts to join 8080.AI with your referral link when you press "Invite all"; with its "Every day" switch on (it starts on, and you can turn it off before you press), it does this again every day. Google asks you to allow this when you sign in with Google (you can untick it; sign-in works the same without it), or when you press "Choose people from Gmail" or "Invite all". When you allow your contacts at sign-in, we read them right away and keep them with your account (see below). We send invitations only after you press one of those buttons, including "Invite all" in the one-time offer we show after sign-in:

• Your Google contacts and "Other contacts" (people you have emailed or replied to): we read their names and email addresses, and nothing else. With "Choose people from Gmail" we show them to you so you can search them and pick exactly who to invite; with "Invite all" we invite those who have no 8080.AI account, the ones you have not invited yet first. No-reply and company addresses and anyone who unsubscribed are left out.
• Sending email from your Gmail: we send invitations from your Gmail address (a project invitation also has an unsubscribe link): the people you picked when you press Send, at most 200 a day, or, when you press "Invite all", up to 400 a day in all. With "Every day" on, we do this every day by ourselves, working through your whole contact list and then starting again from the top, so a contact who has not joined can get your invitation again; anyone who signs up or unsubscribes gets no more. Nothing is sent before you press one of those buttons. This permission cannot read your mailbox, and we never read, search, change or delete your email.
• A project invitation is the same invitation as one sent from your project's team settings: the person joins the project with the access you chose only if they accept it.

What we keep, and for how long

• While you choose, your contact list is held for at most one hour and then deleted; it is deleted at once when you send or discard. "Invite all" never holds the list: only the people it invites are stored.
• If you allow your contacts when you sign in with Google, we read the lists you allowed right away and keep each contact's name and email address with your account, so that you can invite them later; when you invite from Gmail and the list is more than a day old, we read it again to refresh it. We never email them by ourselves: invitations go only from your Gmail when you choose to send them. They are deleted when you delete your account, or when you ask us at the address below.
• For each person you invite: their name and email address, the project and access you invited them to, and whether the invitation was opened, clicked, accepted or led to a signup. We use this only to show you who you invited, to credit your referral, to decide who is invited next, and to honor unsubscribes.
• Addresses that unsubscribe are kept on a do-not-invite list so that no one invites them again.
• The Google access you grant for invites is used only while that batch runs and is never saved in our database, except with "Every day" on: then Google gives 8080.AI lasting access, which we keep encrypted only while it is on and delete as soon as you turn it off. If you allow it when you sign in, we hold it encrypted for less than an hour so that "Invite all" starts with one press; cancelling the offer deletes it at once. When you sign in with Google we keep your name, email address and profile picture while you have an account, so your account stays linked. Sign-in keeps none of the tokens Google returns, and any kept by an earlier sign-in are deleted at your next one.
• Deleting your 8080.AI account deletes the invites you created. You can also ask us to delete them, or your Google sign-in details, at support@8080.ai, and remove 8080.AI's access at any time in your Google Account under Security, "Third-party apps & services".

How we protect it

Google user data travels only over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. What we keep is stored in our database, which is encrypted at rest. The Gmail access for invites is held in memory while a batch runs, encrypted for less than an hour when you allow it at sign-in, and, for daily invites, encrypted until you turn them off. A contact list held while you choose is deleted within an hour; contacts kept from sign-in stay in our database until you delete your account.

What we never do

We do not sell Google user data or pass it to data brokers, use it for advertising, or use it for credit or lending decisions, and we share it only with the service providers that host 8080.AI for us. We do not use data from Google Workspace APIs, such as Gmail and Google Contacts, to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI and/or ML models. People at 8080.AI do not read it, except with your permission (for example, when you ask for support), to investigate security problems or abuse, or when the law requires it.

8080.AI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to This Policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. Before we change how we use Google user data, we will tell you by email or in the app.
