Credits are the usage currency of 8080.AI. They are used to access AI-powered features and platform services, including planning, design generation, document processing, task execution, deployments, hosted compute, and more. Each action has a defined credit cost, so you only pay for the resources you use.
Credits are consumed when you use AI features or platform resources. Common examples include:

Free accounts run a monthly credit cycle from the day you signed up: 10 credits upfront, 10 credits a day for the first 10 days, then 1 credit a day until the cycle restarts - about 131 credits per 31-day cycle. When the cycle restarts, any unused free credits from the previous cycle expire and the schedule begins again. Purchased, referral and earned credits are never expired.
If your available balance is too low, actions that require credits won’t start. You can purchase additional credits or upgrade your subscription before trying again.
Yes. You can purchase credit top-ups at any time without changing your subscription. Purchased credits are added directly to your balance and can be used immediately.
Your current credit balance is always visible within the platform. To view detailed activity, go to Billing → Credits, where you can see all credit additions, purchases, deductions, and usage history.
The credit rates displayed on this page are based on your current subscription. If you’re signed in, you’ll see the rates for your active plan. If you’re browsing without signing in, the displayed rates are for the Free plan.
Depending on your subscription plan, you may receive Daily Bonus Credits automatically every day while your subscription is active.
These bonus credits are added to your account each day, allowing you to continue building and experimenting without waiting for your next billing cycle. The number of daily bonus credits depends on your current plan and is shown on the pricing page.
On the Free plan, daily credits belong to the current monthly cycle and expire when the cycle restarts. Every grant is confirmed by email.
Free plan credits are granted per monthly cycle, counted from your signup date. Whatever is unused when the cycle restarts expires, and the new cycle starts with a fresh upfront grant. Purchased top-ups, referral rewards and earned credits never expire.
Custom domains are registered from the production deployment panel on paid plans. The registrar quotes a live USD price for the exact domain, which is converted to credits at your plan’s top-up rate, so higher plans pay fewer credits for the same domain. The Compare plans table above shows an example for each plan.
