This document defines the requirements for ASHBORN, an AI-assisted cinematic production project. ASHBORN is a dark-fantasy short film assembled from AI-generated video clips with AI-generated character voices, governed by a strict creative "Project Bible." The system's purpose is to enable a single Director to author, review, approve, and regenerate photorealistic, continuity-locked video clips that follow the ASHBORN story, character, location, and color rules exactly.
The scope covers the full ASHBORN production pipeline as defined in the source material:
Out of scope: any capability not described in the source material (e.g., a general video editor, a public distribution platform, or unrelated product modules).
ASHBORN is a creative-consistency-directed generation pipeline. The Director operates as the sole creative authority, working one scene at a time. For each clip, the system enforces a fixed prompt template and reference map so that color, costume, character identity, physical continuity, and motion are locked across every shot. Story details are never guessed; the system proposes a clip-by-clip plan with camera angles and waits for explicit approval before writing any prompt.
Core story premise: A mother protects her dragon son from a hunter and the village's fear; she dies for him, and he honors her by choosing mercy instead of revenge.
Production shape: 5 Acts / 18 Scenes / ~91 clips of 15s / ~23 min.

System actors (not personas):
The source material fully specifies the visual and color identity; the interface/authoring theme derives directly from it.
The signature of the ASHBORN system is the locked, layered prompt discipline — two "MOST IMPORTANT" locks (COLOR LOCK and COSTUME) that appear in every frame, supported by a strict REFERENCE map and a mandatory REMINDER/AVOID pair. Every clip is assembled in a fixed order so that the story's emotional realism (weight, pain, exhaustion, isolation) is never sacrificed to drift in color, costume, or character identity. The crimson shawl draped over one solid emerald dress, closed to a high round neckline, under warm cave darkness with a pulsing orange pendant, is the defining visual motif carried across all 18 scenes.
(Only the layers the production actually requires are listed.)

17clipsEvery clip is written in one fixed sequence. COLOR LOCK and COSTUME open the template as the two most important locks, and the remaining thirteen sections follow in order down to AVOID.
AVOID closes the template as the final section and replaces a separate negative prompt box.
Every clip draws from the same reference set. Each plate carries a single responsibility — identity, environment, motion, or secondary subject — and is used for that scope and nothing more.

The crimson shawl and solid emerald dress are described in the prompt, never attached as a reference plate.
All output renders in full vivid, high-contrast, rich saturated color — never faded, grey, hazy, desaturated, or black and white.
Crimson shawl over one solid deep emerald dress — obsidian at the throat, ember as the only warm light.

Cave interiors stay dark but warm. The pendant glow is the only warm light source — the sealed cave never reads grey, hazy, or fogged.
Continuity
Each clip's first frame equals the previous clip's end frame. A single stroke that never breaks.
Before a clip is written, its anchor frame passes through one chain of three moves — the boost, the chest rule, and the re-anchor — so color, costume, and physical position carry across every cut without drift.
Before anything else, the previous clip's last frame is boosted — saturation lifted to +25/30, contrast to +20/25, and warmth +20 in the cave — so a faded input can never produce a faded video.
@image3 boost
If the boosted last frame shows Sera's chest, it is substituted with a flat-color sketch: crimson red shawl over one solid deep emerald green dress. If it shows only her back, legs, lions, or environment, the real boosted frame is used.
The clip's end frame becomes the next clip's anchor, and each clip's first frame equals the previous clip's end frame. The chain never breaks between shots.
A trim does not end the chain — it restarts it from a new point. The trimmed last frame becomes the next clip's anchor, and the Director describes the kept content so the system knows what it is continuing from.
Trim the clip
The Director trims what did not work out of the generated clip.
Re-anchor
The trimmed last frame becomes the new anchor for the next clip, replacing the old end frame.
Describe what happened
The Director says what the kept content is — the system cannot watch video, so it is told.
