Introduction

The Query-Ucc-holdings project aims to redesign and redevelop the corporate website for UCC Holding, a Qatar-based international company. The website will serve as a modern, professional digital face for the organization and include a database-driven portal for managing vendors, contractors, and sales inquiries.

System Overview

The redesigned website will feature a modern, responsive design with support for both English and Arabic languages. It will include corporate pages, a vendor registration module, a contractor database module, and a sales and contact database. The system will operate as a standalone application with no specified integrations with existing ERP, CRM, or third-party systems. Content management will be handled through Strapi CMS, and the vendor, contractor, and sales management modules will be custom-built.

Functional Requirements

• As a Visitor, I should be able to view corporate pages such as Home, About Us, Company Profile, Services, Products/Solutions, Projects/Portfolio, Clients, News & Updates, Careers, and Contact Us.

Signature Design Concept

The homepage will feature an interactive 3D globe representing UCC Holding's global presence. Users can rotate the globe to explore different regions where the company operates. Each region will highlight key projects and services with clickable hotspots. This concept will be implemented using @react-three/fiber for 3D rendering and framer-motion for smooth animations and transitions.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will utilize a "parallax" interaction model, providing a layered depth effect as users scroll. Decorative elements will move at different speeds, creating a dynamic and engaging experience. Internal pages will adopt a "static" model for clarity and ease of use.

Non-Functional Requirements

• The website must be responsive and optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• The system should support English and Arabic languages, including RTL layouts.
• The website must be SEO-friendly and secure with SSL encryption.
