Winter-Project

Introduction

The "Winter-Project" is designed to facilitate the registration and management of participants in the "Khadmeen e Ummat Seerat Un Nabi SWS Competition." This competition is targeted at school and college students, with events occurring at both district and state levels. The project aims to streamline the registration process and manage participant data efficiently.

System Overview

The system will serve as a platform for students to register for the competition, providing necessary details such as personal information, competition type, and payment status. It will also manage the progression of participants from district-level competitions to state-level events, culminating in a winners' program.

Functional Requirements

  • As a student, I should be able to register for the competition by providing my name, father's name, school name, place, state, WhatsApp number, class, and type of competition to enroll in.
  • As a student, I should be able to confirm the fee payment status during registration.
  • As an administrator, I should be able to view and manage the list of registered participants.
  • As an administrator, I should be able to track participants' progression from district-level to state-level competitions.
  • As an administrator, I should be able to schedule the winners' program after the completion of state-level competitions.

User Personas

  • Student: A school or college student interested in participating in the competition.
  • Administrator: A person responsible for managing the competition, including registration, participant tracking, and event scheduling.

Core User Flows

  • Student registers for the competition -> Provides personal and competition details -> Confirms fee payment -> Receives confirmation.
  • Administrator reviews participant list -> Tracks participant progression -> Schedules winners' program.

Signature Design Concept

The homepage will feature an interactive "Competition Journey Map" using @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei. This 3D map will visually represent the journey from district to state-level competitions. Users can click on different stages to view details, hover to see participant stats, and drag to explore the map. The map will dynamically update as participants progress, providing a visually engaging and interactive experience.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will utilize a "parallax" interaction model. Layers of content will move at different speeds as users scroll, creating a sense of depth and engagement. This model will be complemented by animated transitions and hover effects to enhance user interaction and maintain a visually rich experience.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system should ensure data security and privacy for all participants.
  • The application should be responsive and accessible across various devices and screen sizes.
  • The system should handle concurrent user registrations efficiently.
