System Requirements Document (SRD)

Project Name: Winter-Automation

1. Introduction

Winter-Automation is a cutting-edge medical automation system designed to streamline healthcare services by enabling customers to input their medical details, analyze the data, and provide recommendations for medicines and tests. This innovative solution aims to simplify the patient journey and enhance medical decision-making processes, making healthcare more accessible and efficient.

This document outlines the system requirements for Winter-Automation, tailored to the needs of users in India (IN), considering locale-specific defaults such as currency, timezone (IST), and healthcare standards.

2. System Overview

Winter-Automation is envisioned as a user-friendly, AI-powered medical automation platform. The system will allow customers to input their symptoms, medical history, or other relevant details through an intuitive interface. Using advanced AI models and predefined medical rules, the system will analyze the data to recommend medicines and tests.

The platform will cater to individual customers, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and providing accurate, reliable recommendations. It will also include optional doctor approval for prescriptions, ensuring safety and adherence to medical regulations.

3. Functional Requirements

Story Points:

  • As a Customer, I should be able to input my symptoms and medical history through a user-friendly interface.
  • As a Customer, I should receive automated recommendations for medicines and tests based on my inputs.
  • As a Customer, I should be able to view detailed explanations of the recommended medicines and tests.
  • As a Doctor, I should be able to review and approve or modify the automated recommendations before they are finalized.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to manage the database of medical rules, medicines, and tests.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to monitor system performance and generate reports.

4. User Personas

1. Customer

  • Description: Individuals seeking medical advice and automation for prescriptions and tests.
  • Needs: Easy-to-use interface, accurate recommendations, and detailed explanations.

2. Doctor

  • Description: Medical professionals who review and approve recommendations.
  • Needs: Secure access to customer data, ability to modify recommendations, and compliance with medical standards.

3. Admin

  • Description: System administrators responsible for managing the platform.
  • Needs: Tools for database management, performance monitoring, and reporting.

5. Creative Reference Stories

Based on the project's medical automation theme, the "Stormy Ocean Authority" design story is selected for its cinematic, stable, and resilient mood, which aligns with the project's goal of providing reliable and impactful healthcare solutions.

Visual Direction:

  • Mood: Cinematic, powerful, resilient, and stable.
  • Palette:
    • Background: Layered dark navies and indigos, avoiding pure black.
    • Surface: Muted blue-gray tones with depth.
    • Text: Warm ivory and aged parchment tones for readability.
    • Accent: Warm amber or soft tangerine for guiding-light highlights.
    • Avoid: Neon colors, bright saturated hues.
  • Typography:
    • Heading: Dramatic serif or sharp modern serif, weight 700.
    • Body: Clean light sans-serif, weight 300.
  • Layout:
    • Density: Low, with generous negative space.
    • Hero: Cinematic fullscreen with a guiding-light theme.

6. Visuals Colors and Theme

Unique Color Palette for Winter-Automation:

  • Background: #1A2B48 (Deep Navy Blue)
  • Surface: #4A5A6E (Muted Blue-Gray)
  • Text: #F4EAD5 (Warm Ivory)
  • Accent: #FFB347 (Soft Tangerine)
  • Muted Tones: #7A8A9E (Soft Slate Blue)

This palette ensures a professional, stable, and trustworthy appearance, suitable for a healthcare platform.

7. Signature Design Concept

Concept: "Guiding Light in Healthcare"

The homepage of Winter-Automation will feature a cinematic stormy ocean scene with a lighthouse beam sweeping across the horizon. The lighthouse symbolizes guidance and reliability, aligning with the platform's mission to provide accurate medical recommendations.

  • Hero Section:

    • A dark atmospheric background with layered navies and indigos.
    • The headline emerges slowly from the darkness, styled in dramatic serif typography.
    • A glowing CTA button styled like a guiding light, inviting users to input their medical details.
  • Animations:

    • Subtle wave-like parallax motion in the background.
    • Fade-up effects for text and buttons.
    • Beam-sweep animation for the lighthouse, creating a sense of stability and focus.
  • Micro-Interactions:

    • Buttons glow softly on hover, resembling a guiding light.
    • Cards translate up slightly with a layered shadow effect.

This design concept ensures the platform is visually striking, emotionally engaging, and memorable.

8. Non-Functional Requirements

  • Performance: The system must handle up to 10,000 concurrent users without degradation.
  • Security: Ensure data encryption and compliance with healthcare data standards (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Scalability: The platform should be scalable to accommodate future growth.
  • Availability: Maintain 99.9% uptime.
  • Localization: Support multiple languages, with a default locale of India (IN).
