Windy-Landing System Requirements Document

Introduction

Welcome to the System Requirements Document for the "Windy-Landing" project. This document outlines the necessary specifications and requirements to create a compelling and effective landing page tailored to the needs of our target audience in India. The primary goal of this landing page is to capture attention and convey the intended message efficiently, whether it be promoting a product, collecting leads, or another objective.

System Overview

The Windy-Landing project aims to develop a dynamic and engaging landing page that resonates with the target audience. The landing page will serve as a crucial touchpoint for users, providing them with essential information and encouraging desired actions. The system will be designed to ensure a seamless user experience, with a focus on aesthetics, functionality, and performance.

Functional Requirements

  • As a User, I should be able to view a visually appealing landing page.
  • As a User, I should be able to easily navigate through the landing page.
  • As a User, I should be able to understand the main message or offer quickly.
  • As a User, I should be able to submit my contact information for lead generation.
  • As a User, I should be able to access the landing page on both desktop and mobile devices.

Signature Design Concept

The Windy-Landing page will feature an interactive "Wind Tunnel" effect on the homepage. As users scroll, they will experience a dynamic animation where elements appear to be gently swept by a virtual breeze. This effect will be achieved using gsap for smooth scroll-triggered animations. Users can hover over elements to see them sway slightly, creating an immersive experience that reflects the "windy" theme. The landing page will also include interactive elements such as floating call-to-action buttons that respond to user interactions with subtle animations, enhancing the overall engagement.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The intended interaction model for the Windy-Landing page is "parallax." This approach will create a layered depth effect as users scroll, with decorative elements moving at different speeds to provide a visually rich first impression. The real content will remain in the normal flow, ensuring readability and accessibility. Each section of the landing page will feature a distinctive core mechanic, such as kinetic typography or scroll-triggered animations, to maintain user interest and engagement.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The landing page must load within 3 seconds on a standard internet connection.
  • The design must be responsive and compatible with all major browsers and devices.
  • The system should be scalable to accommodate increased traffic without performance degradation.

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React for Web
  • Backend: FastAPI
  • Database: MySQL or MariaDB, using alembic for migrations
  • AI Models: GPT 5.4 for user-friendly responses
  • Local Orchestration: Docker, docker-compose
  • Server-side Orchestration: Kubernetes
