1. Introduction

This document outlines the system requirements for the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust's online booking system for Sugam Darshan. The system facilitates the booking of darshan slots, ticket generation, and management of devotees' information.

2. System Overview

The system is designed to allow devotees to book Sugam Darshan slots online, generate tickets, and manage bookings. It includes functionalities for payment processing, ticket issuance, and adherence to temple-specific rules and conditions.

3. Functional Requirements

Booking and Ticketing

  • As a devotee, I want to book Sugam Darshan slots online, so that I can secure a time for my visit to the temple.
  • As a devotee, I want to receive a digital ticket upon booking, so that I have proof of my booking.
  • As a devotee, I want to view the details of my booking, including the number of persons and children, to ensure accuracy.
  • As a devotee, I want to receive a confirmation email with my booking details, so that I have a record of my transaction.
  • As a devotee, I want to see the ticket price before confirming my booking, so that I am aware of the cost.
  • As a devotee, I want to see the total amount for my booking, so that I can verify the total cost for all attendees.

  • As a devotee, I want to provide the names of all attendees, such as Monin Yogendra Modi, Modi Yogendra Poonamchand, and Modi Reshma Yogendra, to ensure accurate records.
  • As a temple administrator, I want to view and manage bookings, so that I can allocate resources and manage temple capacity.
  • As a temple administrator, I want to see the details of devotees, including names and tokens, to facilitate entry management.

Compliance and Conditions

  • As a devotee, I want to understand the terms and conditions of my booking, so that I am aware of the rules and restrictions.
  • As a temple administrator, I want to enforce booking rules, such as no rescheduling and age restrictions for children, to maintain order and compliance.

Additional Requirements

  • As a devotee, I want to know the name of the Archak (priest) for my darshan, so that I can have a personalized experience.
  • As a devotee, I want to know who booked the darshan, so that I can confirm the booking details.

4. User Personas

  • Devotee: An individual or group looking to book a Sugam Darshan slot at the temple.

11. Assumptions and Constraints

  • Bookings cannot be rescheduled once confirmed.
  • No ticket is required for children below 12 years.
  • Sugam Darshan is not available during aarti and on special days.
