Venus-Build

Introduction

Venus-Build is a project aimed at developing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system specifically tailored for customer support teams. The goal is to streamline interactions, improve service quality, and enhance business efficiency by integrating essential features like ticket management and chat support.

System Overview

The Venus-Build CRM system will serve as a centralized platform for customer support teams to manage customer interactions efficiently. It will facilitate the tracking and resolution of customer issues through a robust ticket management system and provide real-time communication capabilities via chat support. The system will be designed to cater to the specific needs of customer support personnel, ensuring a user-friendly interface and seamless integration with existing business processes.

Signature Design Concept

The Venus-Build CRM will feature an interactive galaxy map on the homepage, where each star represents a different feature or section of the CRM. Users can click on a star to open a detailed view of that feature, such as ticket management or chat support. Dragging the map will rotate the galaxy, providing a dynamic and engaging way to explore the system. Hovering over a star will highlight its connections to related features, offering a visual representation of the CRM's interconnected functionalities. This concept will be brought to life using @react-three/fiber for 3D rendering and gsap for smooth animations and transitions.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will employ a "parallax" interaction model, creating a sense of depth as users scroll through the content. Decorative layers, such as atmospheric blobs and distant shapes, will move at different speeds, enhancing the storytelling aspect of the CRM. Internal pages, such as dashboards and settings, will adopt a "static" model to prioritize layout clarity and reading speed.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system should be highly available and handle concurrent user sessions efficiently.
  • Data security and user privacy must be ensured, complying with relevant regulations.
  • The CRM should be scalable to accommodate growing user bases and data volumes.

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React for Web
  • Backend: Python, FastAPI
  • Database: MySQL or MariaDB, with alembic for migrations
  • AI Models: GPT 5.4 for user-friendly responses
  • AI Tools: Litellm for LLM Routing
  • Local Orchestration: Docker, docker-compose
  • Server-side Orchestration: Kubernetes

Assumptions and Constraints

  • The CRM will primarily serve customer support teams in India, considering local timezone and currency settings.
  • The system will integrate with existing business tools and platforms used by the customer support team.
  • The design and functionality will prioritize ease of use and accessibility for all users.

Glossary

  • CRM: Customer Relationship Management
