Introduction

The "urban-way" project aims to develop a sophisticated AI assistant tailored to the daily needs of Desert, an executive user. This assistant, inspired by the concept of J.A.R.V.I.S., will focus on enhancing productivity through intelligent integration with services like Outlook, providing proactive assistance in managing emails, scheduling, and more.

System Overview

The urban-way project is designed to create an AI assistant that seamlessly integrates with Outlook to manage emails and scheduling. The system will support both voice and text command interactions, making it intuitive and efficient for executive-level tasks. The primary goal is to streamline daily operations and enhance productivity by automating routine tasks and providing intelligent insights.

Functional Requirements

  • As an Executive, I should be able to manage my emails through voice commands.
  • As an Executive, I should be able to schedule meetings and appointments using text commands.
  • As an Executive, I should be able to receive reminders for upcoming tasks and meetings.
  • As an Executive, I should be able to integrate the assistant with Outlook for seamless email and calendar management.
  • As an Executive, I should be able to use both voice and text commands to interact with the assistant.

Signature Design Concept

The urban-way project will feature a dynamic and interactive homepage that resembles a futuristic command center. Using @react-three/fiber and gsap, the homepage will present a 3D holographic interface where users can interact with floating panels representing different functionalities like email, calendar, and task management. The tagline will be updated to "Welcome Master". The executive-focused subtitle will be removed. As users hover over or click these panels, they will animate with smooth transitions, providing a tactile and engaging experience. The interface will also feature subtle ambient animations that respond to user interactions, creating a sense of immersion and control. Additionally, the background will include dynamic, subtly moving elements to convey intelligence while maintaining a dark theme.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will adopt a "parallax" interaction model, providing a layered depth experience via scroll. Decorative elements will translate at different speeds, enhancing the storytelling aspect of the assistant's capabilities. Internal pages will maintain a "static" interaction model to ensure clarity and speed in accessing information and functionalities.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system must be highly responsive and capable of processing voice and text commands in real-time.
  • The integration with Outlook must be secure and comply with data privacy regulations.
  • The user interface should be intuitive and accessible, adhering to accessibility standards.
