1. Introduction

This document outlines the system requirements for the Frolic B2B Auto Parts Logistics Platform, focusing on the development of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for the transportation of auto parts and local goods within the Sangli District, Maharashtra. The platform aims to connect auto parts distributors, garages, local delivery drivers, and platform administrators.

2. System Overview

The Frolic platform will consist of mobile applications for garages and drivers, and a web-based admin portal. The solution will enable garages to place orders, create delivery requests, and allow registered drivers to accept and complete deliveries. The MVP will be deployed for pilot testing in the Sangli District.

Client Mobile Application (iOS & Android)

  • As a garage user, I want to register using my mobile number and OTP verification so that I can securely access the platform.
  • As a garage user, I want to manage my profile including business details, contact information, and address management.
  • As a garage user, I want to browse distributor inventory and search for products by category.
  • As a garage user, I want to use AI voice ordering with Marathi dialect support to create orders.
  • As a garage user, I want to upload images of spare parts for AI-based matching and product recommendations.
  • As a garage user, I want to add products to my cart, select quantities, and choose between COD or online payment options.

Driver Mobile Application (iOS & Android)

  • As a delivery driver, I want to submit KYC documents including Aadhaar, Driving License, and Vehicle RC for admin approval.
  • As a delivery driver, I want to view available delivery requests with details such as pickup and delivery locations, parcel details, and estimated earnings.
  • As a delivery driver, I want to accept delivery requests and receive job assignment confirmations.
  • As a delivery driver, I want to use Google Maps for route navigation to pickup and delivery locations.
  • As a delivery driver, I want to complete the delivery workflow including parcel collection, transit, and delivery confirmation.

11. Assumptions and Constraints

  • The MVP will initially be deployed only within the Sangli District.
  • Multi-language support is limited to Marathi and English.
  • The platform will not include passenger ride booking or inter-city logistics in the MVP phase.
