System Requirements Document (SRD)

Project Name: tidal-what

1. Introduction

The tidal-what project is designed to showcase the unique capabilities of Claude, an AI developed by Anthropic, and highlight its differences from other AI platforms like ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Gemini (Google). This document outlines the system requirements necessary to build a platform that effectively communicates these distinctions while providing an engaging and informative user experience.

The project is tailored for Rishika Arya, based in India, and assumes locale-specific defaults such as IST timezone, INR currency, and cultural preferences for design and functionality.

2. System Overview

The tidal-what platform will serve as an interactive and educational space where users can explore the unique features of Claude, compare it with other AI systems, and understand its strengths in areas like AI safety, reasoning, and privacy.

The system will include:

  • A visually captivating homepage that immediately grabs attention.
  • Detailed sections explaining Claude's capabilities, such as Constitutional AI, long context windows, and nuanced reasoning.
  • Interactive comparisons between Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini.
  • A secure and privacy-focused environment for users to explore content.

The platform will be accessible via web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless experience across devices.

3. Functional Requirements

User Stories

  • As a User, I should be able to explore detailed comparisons between Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini.
  • As a User, I should be able to interact with visual and textual content explaining Claude's unique features.
  • As a User, I should be able to navigate the platform easily on both web and mobile devices.
  • As a Developer, I should be able to customize the platform using Claude Agent SDK for specific use cases.
  • As an Enterprise Customer, I should be able to access privacy-focused options and data handling features.

4. User Personas

Color Palette

The tidal-what platform will use a unique, modern, and professional color scheme to reflect the innovative nature of Claude.

  • Background: #F5F9FC (Soft Sky Blue)
  • Surface: #FFFFFF (Pure White)
  • Text: #1A1A1A (Deep Charcoal)
  • Accent: #FF6F61 (Warm Coral)
  • Muted Tones: #B0BEC5 (Cool Gray)

This palette is designed to evoke trust, clarity, and sophistication while maintaining a welcoming and approachable feel.

6. Signature Design Concept

Concept: Interactive AI Showcase with Dynamic Comparisons

The homepage of tidal-what will feature an interactive AI showcase that visually compares Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini in real-time.

Key Features:

  1. Dynamic Comparison Slider: A horizontal slider where users can toggle between Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini to see their features highlighted side-by-side. Each toggle animates with smooth transitions and micro-interactions, such as glowing outlines or subtle color shifts.

  2. Floating AI Elements: Claude's unique features (e.g., Constitutional AI, long context windows) will be represented as floating, clickable icons that expand into detailed explanations when hovered over.

  3. Nuanced Animations: The background will feature a living watercolor effect that subtly morphs colors based on the time of day, creating a calming yet dynamic visual experience.

  4. Interactive Privacy Meter: A visual gauge that demonstrates Claude's privacy commitments compared to other platforms, with interactive elements that allow users to explore specific privacy features.

  5. Engaging Micro-Interactions: Buttons and icons will respond with tactile animations, such as ripples or color pulses, enhancing user engagement.

This design concept ensures the platform is not only informative but also unforgettable, leaving users with a lasting impression of Claude's capabilities.

7. Non-Functional Requirements

  • Performance: The platform must load within 2 seconds on both web and mobile devices.
  • Scalability: Support up to 10,000 concurrent users without degradation in performance.
  • Security: Implement robust data encryption and comply with GDPR and other relevant privacy regulations.
  • Accessibility: Ensure WCAG 2.1 compliance for users with disabilities.
  • Localization: Support multiple languages, with a default focus on English and Hindi.

8. Tech Stack
