Project Overview

The project, titled "JobBoard – Fullstack Web Application for Job Listings and Applications," aims to build a comprehensive job board platform. This platform will enable employers to post job listings and job seekers to search, filter, and apply for jobs. The system will include authentication, a responsive frontend, an admin panel, and an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for evaluating candidates.

• Allow companies to create accounts and post job listings.
• Enable job seekers to register, create profiles, and apply for jobs.
• Provide an admin dashboard for managing users and job posts.
• Ensure the frontend is mobile-responsive and SEO-friendly.
• Integrate an ATS for candidate evaluation on the job portal.

Main Features & Modules

• Job Listings: CRUD interface for employers to manage job postings.
• Search & Filter: Functionality for job seekers to search jobs by keyword, location, and tags.
• Profile Management: Allow job seekers to manage resumes, bios, and experience.
• Application Tracking: Users can view their applied jobs.
• Admin Panel: View and manage users and job posts.
• Email Notifications: Send emails on job application/submission.
• Resume Upload: Support for PDF/DOCX uploads with optional OCR integration.

Authentication & Authorization

• Sign-up/Login: For both companies and job seekers.
• JWT Token-Based Authentication: Secure user sessions.
• Role-Based Access Control: Different roles for Admin, Employer, and Job Seeker.

• The system must comply with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.

Timeline

• Planning & Design: 1 Week (Wireframes + DB schema)
• Frontend Development: 2 Weeks (UI components & routing)
• Backend API Development: 2 Weeks (Auth, CRUD, integrations)
• Testing & QA: 1 Week (Manual + automated tests)
• Deployment: 2 Days (Dockerize and deploy to cloud)

• A fully functional job board platform with integrated ATS.
• Comprehensive documentation for system use and maintenance.
