Introduction

The purpose of this System Requirements Document (SRD) is to outline the specifications and requirements for the "terra-bot" project. Terra-bot is an AI-driven solution designed to automate Instagram interactions, specifically focusing on managing comments and direct messages (DMs) for freelancers like Nisha. This bot aims to enhance engagement, streamline communication, and showcase the user's portfolio effectively.

System Overview

Terra-bot is intended to serve as a virtual assistant for Instagram, capable of handling both comments and DMs. The system will leverage AI to provide automated responses, manage interactions, and engage with followers. This will allow freelancers to focus on their core activities while maintaining an active and responsive presence on social media.

  • As a Freelancer, I should be able to manage and respond to comments on my posts.
  • As a Freelancer, I should be able to showcase my portfolio through automated interactions.

Signature Design Concept

The homepage of terra-bot will feature an interactive galaxy map where each star represents a different feature or section of the bot. Users can click on a star to open a task card, drag to rotate the cluster, and hover to highlight connections between features. This concept will be brought to life using @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei for 3D interactions, creating an engaging and memorable first impression.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will employ a "parallax" interaction model, providing a layered depth experience via scroll. Decorative layers, such as atmospheric blobs and distant shapes, will translate at different speeds, while real content remains in the normal flow. This approach is ideal for creating a visually rich first impression that tells the story of terra-bot's capabilities.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system should be able to handle a high volume of interactions without performance degradation.
  • The bot must comply with Instagram's API usage policies and guidelines.
  • The system should ensure data privacy and security for all user interactions.
