1. Introduction

The strong-application is a comprehensive healthcare platform designed to streamline doctor consultations and lab test bookings for users in India. The system will cater to multiple user roles, including customers, doctors, clinics/hospitals, labs, and lab technicians. By integrating location-based search, specialization filters, and payment gateways, the platform aims to provide a seamless experience for healthcare management.

This document outlines the system requirements for the strong-application, ensuring clarity and alignment with the project's vision as discussed with Japan Shah.

2. System Overview

The strong-application is envisioned as a mobile application for customers, complemented by a web-based admin panel for managing the platform's operations. The system will enable users to:

• Book doctor consultations based on location and specialization.
• Schedule lab tests with nearby labs or clinics.
• Facilitate secure payments for bookings.
• Provide role-based dashboards for customers, doctors, clinics/hospitals, labs, and lab technicians.

The platform will leverage modern technologies to ensure scalability, security, and user-friendly interfaces.

3. Functional Requirements

Customer Role:

• As a Customer, I should be able to search for doctors based on location and specialization.
• As a Customer, I should be able to book doctor consultations.
• As a Customer, I should be able to search for labs based on location and available tests.
• As a Customer, I should be able to book lab tests.
• As a Customer, I should be able to make secure payments for bookings.
• As a Customer, I should be able to view my booking history.

Doctor Role:

• As a Doctor, I should be able to manage my availability for consultations.
• As a Doctor, I should be able to view and manage bookings from customers.

Clinic/Hospital Role:

• As a Clinic/Hospital, I should be able to list available doctors and their specializations.
• As a Clinic/Hospital, I should be able to manage bookings for doctors.

Lab Role:

• As a Lab, I should be able to list available tests and their prices.
• As a Lab, I should be able to manage bookings for lab tests.

Lab Technician Role:

• As a Lab Technician, I should be able to update the status of lab tests.
• As a Lab Technician, I should be able to upload test results for customers.

The homepage will feature an interactive health map that allows customers to visually explore nearby doctors, clinics, and labs.

Key Features:

• Dynamic Map Interface: A live map with clickable pins representing healthcare providers.
• Hover Animations: Hovering over a pin reveals a preview card with the provider's name, specialization, and availability.
• Search Filters: Customers can filter the map by specialization, test type, or location radius.
• Color-coded Pins: Different colors for doctors, clinics, and labs for easy identification.
• Micro-interactions: Smooth transitions when zooming in/out or clicking on a pin.

This design will make the platform visually engaging and intuitive, ensuring a memorable first impression.

7. Non-Functional Requirements

• Performance: The system must handle up to 10,000 concurrent users without degradation.
• Security: All sensitive data must be encrypted, and payment transactions must comply with PCI DSS standards.
• Scalability: The platform should support future expansion to additional cities and roles.
• Localization: Default language will be English, with support for Hindi and other regional languages.
