6. Visuals Colors and Theme

[Design proposal; unspecified choices are defaults.]

6.1 Visuals, Colours and Theme

Sanwariya Elegance reads as an established premium Indian designer boutique, not a template. The muse is Tobias van Schneider's editorial minimalism with swagger: enormous serif display, asymmetric grids, full-bleed photography, one hot accent. The headline is "Elegance, Tailored to You."

Palette (light mode, exact tokens by role)

RoleTokenUse
Background#F6F1E7 warm ivorypage ground, ~65% of every screen
Surface#EFE7D8 soft beigesection bands, cards, form fields
Text#232019 charcoal-inkall type
Primary#6B1F2E deep wineprimary CTAs, active nav underline, price emphasis, referral band ground — under 10% of any screen
Accent#B08D57 champagne goldhairline only: 1px rules, small-caps labels, icon strokes; never a fill behind text
Muted#8A8172 stonesecondary metadata

Wine-on-ivory and charcoal-on-ivory pass body contrast; gold is never body text. Full-bleed photography carries the remaining colour. No cheap gradients, no overcrowded grids, no more than these five hues.

Typography

  • Headings: Playfair Display, 400–500 weight, leading 0.95–1.02, tracking -0.01em, sentence case with one italic word for emphasis ("Tailored to You").
  • Body and labels: Jost. Body 17px/1.7 (16px mobile). Small-caps labels 11px / 0.18em tracking for eyebrows and category metadata. Tabular numerals for prices and order IDs.
  • Scale (1.4 modular): hero display clamp(52px, 9vw, 128px); section display clamp(38px, 5.2vw, 72px); subhead clamp(24px, 2.6vw, 36px).

Shape and spacing

Sharp corners everywhere — 0px radius on images, cards, buttons, inputs; the only softness is the photography. Hairline 1px rules in champagne gold or charcoal at 20% opacity divide sections; product cards are defined by a single top rule, not a box. Buttons are rectangles with a 1px charcoal border that fills wine on hover. 12-column editorial grid on an 8-pt baseline; margins 24px mobile / 48px tablet / 96px desktop; premium whitespace throughout.

Imagery

Large-scale editorial fashion photography of Indian designer outfits — lehenga, blouse, gown, kurti — on warm ivory studio grounds or sunlit haveli-like interiors, generous negative space, warm-graded. Tight fabric macro crops (zari, thread, sequin) act as section dividers. Customer gallery uses real submitted photos under one warm grade. No clip art, no stock smiling shoppers, no gradient blobs. Loading and empty states are designed with the same restraint — ivory ground, gold hairline, small-caps message.

Sticky WhatsApp enquiry button: bottom-right, wine circle with a gold hairline ring, icon stroke in ivory.

Defaults labelled: exact hex values, font pair and scale derive from the authoritative creative direction; the uploaded brief fixes the palette families (ivory, champagne gold, burgundy/wine, beige, charcoal) and serif-heading/sans-body system, which these tokens satisfy.

6.2 PROJECT: SANWARIYA ELEGANCE – PREMIUM DESIGNER BOUTIQUE WEBSITE / DESIGN AND VISUAL EXPERIENCE

  • Champagne gold accents.

  • Deep burgundy or muted wine accents.

  • Soft beige.

  • Elegant charcoal typography.

Typography:

  • Elegant serif fonts for headings.

  • Modern clean sans-serif fonts for body text.

Avoid:

  • Too many colours.

  • Cheap-looking gradients.

  • Overcrowded product grids.

  • Generic shopping website designs.

  • Excessive animations.

7. Signature Design Concept

[Design proposal; unspecified choices are defaults.]

The idea: the type is the hero image. Sanwariya Elegance is built as an editorial fashion spread — oversized Playfair Display headlines, asymmetric image placement, and one deep-wine moment — so the site communicates personal styling, designer craftsmanship, trust and exclusivity rather than discount retail.

Signature moves

  1. Oversized headline, one wine word. The hero headline spans the left half of the screen at up to 128px, with "You" set in wine italic.
  2. Full-bleed portrait bleeding off the right edge, separated from the type block by a single 1px champagne-gold vertical rule.
  3. Staggered Pinterest-style category mosaic — tall and wide tiles alternating, 2-up mobile / 3-up desktop, small-caps captions beneath, never text overlaid on busy photography.
  4. Signature Collection as a full-width deep-wine band with one large image and ivory Playfair type — the single palette inversion.
  5. Product cards defined by a 1px top rule and small-caps metadata; hover crossfades to a second image with no lift or shadow.

Public entry composition (homepage hero)

Warm ivory #F6F1E7 first screen. Left 6 columns: gold small-caps eyebrow "SANWARIYA ELEGANCE — BY MITALI GEHLOT", then "Elegance, Tailored to You." stacked across three lines, then the subheading "Where Every Stitch Tells Your Story." in Jost 18px charcoal, then two sharp CTAs side by side — Explore Collection (solid wine, ivory text) and Customise Your Outfit (1px charcoal outline). Right 6 columns, bleeding past the right viewport edge: one tall editorial portrait of a woman in a burgundy lehenga, sharp-cornered, behind the gold vertical rule. No centred stack, no blue button, no gradient blob.

Section rhythm below the hero: Featured Categories mosaic → New Arrivals horizontal scroll-snap rail of tall cards → Signature Collection wine band → Custom Stitching numbered 3-step sequence → Our Happy Customers masonry gallery → referral rewards section → newsletter/WhatsApp subscription → charcoal footer with the wordmark set large in ivory.

Avoid: blue/indigo primary buttons on white; rounded cards with drop shadows and hover-lift; glassmorphism, neon or pastel accents; readable text over busy photography; Inter/Roboto/Poppins/system-ui as heading or body fonts; a centred generic SaaS hero.

Readability guard: headlines, wordmarks, labels, numbers, card text and controls stay whole inside the viewport and their container at 375px, 768px and 1280px, wrapping or scaling via clamp(); imagery and decoration may crop or bleed, readable text and controls may not.

8. Interaction Model & Motion Direction

[Design proposal; unspecified choices are defaults.]

Interaction Model: Animated Motion Tempo: restrained Hero Dimensionality: flat

Landing Hero Motion Brief

  • Focal subject: the tall editorial portrait of a woman in a burgundy lehenga bleeding off the right viewport edge, held behind a 1px champagne-gold vertical rule.
  • Thesis: on load, the ivory ground and gold eyebrow settle first; the oversized Playfair headline reveals line by line with a 24px upward drift; the portrait crossfades in from a second editorial frame on a slow 9s loop. Input is scroll and hover only — no new behaviour, no new destination.
  • Motion vocabulary: 600–800ms cubic-bezier(0.22, 1, 0.36, 1) crossfades; 24px upward type reveals that fire once on scroll; image hover a 1.03 scale inside a fixed crop at 400ms ease; nav links draw a wine underline left-to-right in 240ms; the New Arrivals rail scroll-snaps. No bounce, no parallax jitter, no gradient drift, no particles.
  • Composed first frame: eyebrow, three-line headline with wine italic "You", subheading and both CTAs fully legible on ivory; portrait already present at its final crop — the crossfade is a slow breath, not an entrance that hides content.
  • Reduced-motion state: prefers-reduced-motion makes reveals instant, freezes the hero crossfade on one frame, and turns the New Arrivals rail into a wrapping grid so every card is fully readable.

Across the site: category tiles and product cards crossfade to a second image on hover (400ms, no lift); the Signature Collection wine band reveals its ivory type once; the Custom Stitching steps reveal in sequence; the customer masonry fades in as a block. Loading and empty states use a gold hairline pulse, never a spinner carousel. Motion stays subtle and elegant per the brief — never excessive.
