The stone-app project aims to develop a comprehensive digital platform tailored for the needs of users in India. This document outlines the system requirements necessary to build and maintain the stone-app, ensuring it meets user expectations and business objectives.

System Overview

The stone-app will serve as a digital platform that provides users with a seamless experience for managing and interacting with stone-related services. The platform will be designed to cater to various user personas, ensuring a user-friendly interface and efficient functionality.

Functional Requirements

  • As a User, I should be able to register and create an account on the platform.
  • As a User, I should be able to log in and log out securely.
  • As a User, I should be able to browse and search for stone-related services.
  • As a User, I should be able to view detailed information about each service.
  • As a User, I should be able to book services directly through the platform.
  • As a User, I should be able to provide ratings and reviews for services.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to manage user accounts and service listings.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to view and respond to user feedback.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to generate reports on platform usage and performance.

Visuals Colors and Theme

The color palette for stone-app will be inspired by the colors used on the Perfecto Media Craft website, as requested by the user. The specific colors are as follows:

  • primary: #1E2A38 (a deep slate blue)
  • primary_light: #3A4A5C (a lighter slate blue)
  • secondary: #FF6F61 (a coral hue for emphasis)
  • accent: #FFD700 (a vibrant gold for CTAs and highlights)

Signature Design Concept

The stone-app will feature an interactive homepage that resembles a dynamic stone quarry. Users will navigate through the site as if they are exploring different sections of a quarry. Each section will be represented by a different type of stone, with animations that mimic the natural movement of stones being carved and polished. This concept will be brought to life using @react-three/fiber for 3D interactions and gsap for smooth animations and transitions. Users can click on different stones to reveal more information about the services offered, creating an engaging and memorable experience.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will employ a "parallax" interaction model, providing a layered depth effect as users scroll through the site. This will be achieved through the use of atmospheric elements that move at different speeds, enhancing the storytelling aspect of the platform. Internal pages will maintain a "static" interaction model to prioritize readability and ease of use.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The platform must support high availability and handle concurrent users efficiently.
  • Ensure data security and user privacy through robust encryption and secure access controls.
  • The application should be responsive and accessible across various devices and screen sizes.
