System Requirements Document (SRD)

Project Name: space-website

1. Introduction

The space-website project aims to create a user-friendly platform for building and developing custom AI agents. Designed primarily for non-technical users, the website will guide users through a step-by-step process, from Proof of Concept (POC) to production, ensuring accessibility and ease of use. The platform will empower users to define, train, test, deploy, and manage AI agents without requiring coding expertise. This document outlines the system requirements necessary to achieve the project's goals.

2. System Overview

The space-website platform will provide a seamless experience for non-technical users to create custom AI agents. It will feature a guided workflow that simplifies the process of defining the agent's purpose, training it with relevant data, testing its functionality, deploying it into production, and managing it post-deployment. The system will include intuitive tools such as drag-and-drop interfaces, visual debugging options, and monitoring dashboards to ensure users can interact with the platform effectively.

Key features include:

  • Step-by-step guidance for creating AI agents.
  • Tools for training, testing, and debugging AI agents.
  • Deployment options with integrated monitoring and management tools.
  • A user-friendly interface tailored for non-technical users.

The platform will be developed with scalability and flexibility in mind, allowing users to adapt AI agents to their specific needs while maintaining ease of use.

3. Functional Requirements

As User:

  • As User I should be able to create AI agents step by step from POC to production.
  • As User I should be able to define the purpose of the AI agent.
  • As User I should be able to train the AI agent using easy-to-use tools like drag-and-drop interfaces.
  • As User I should be able to test and debug the AI agent without requiring coding skills.
  • As User I should be able to deploy the AI agent into production.
  • As User I should be able to monitor and manage the AI agent post-deployment.

4. User Personas

Persona 1: Non-Technical User

  • Description: Individuals with little to no programming experience who want to create AI agents for personal or business use.
  • Goals: Build AI agents easily without coding, understand the process step-by-step, and deploy functional agents for specific tasks.
  • Pain Points: Lack of technical knowledge, difficulty in understanding AI concepts, and fear of complex tools.
  • Needs: Intuitive interfaces, guided workflows, and clear explanations of each step.

Persona 2: Business User

  • Description: Small business owners or managers looking to leverage AI for specific business problems.
  • Goals: Create AI agents to automate tasks, improve efficiency, and solve business challenges.
  • Pain Points: Limited time and resources to learn technical tools.
  • Needs: Pre-built templates, easy customization options, and reliable deployment tools.

5. Visuals Colors and Theme

The space-website will feature a unique, vibrant color palette that reflects innovation, accessibility, and futuristic design. The colors are chosen to create a welcoming and engaging experience for non-technical users.

Color Palette:

  • Primary: #3A6EA5 (Deep Space Blue) — Represents trust and professionalism.
  • Primary Light: #6C9ED9 (Sky Blue Tint) — Used for hover states and secondary UI elements.
  • Secondary: #F28C28 (Solar Amber) — Highlights headlines, links, and emphasis areas.
  • Accent: #E63946 (Mars Red) — Vibrant pop color for CTAs, badges, and active states.
  • Highlight: #FFD166 (Golden Glow) — Warm color for hover states, active indicators, and notifications.
  • Background (bg): #F7F9FC (Cosmic White) — Clean and neutral page background.
  • Surface: rgba(58, 110, 165, 0.1) — Subtle card/panel background.
  • Text: #1B263B (Midnight Navy) — Primary text and heading color.
  • Text Muted: #6B7280 (Muted Gray) — Softer color for secondary text, labels, and timestamps.
  • Border: rgba(58, 110, 165, 0.2) — Subtle border color for UI elements.

6. Signature Design Concept

Concept Name: "Interactive Galaxy Builder"

The space-website homepage will feature an interactive galaxy map where each star represents a step in the AI agent creation process. Users can click on stars to navigate through the workflow, with each star illuminating and expanding as they progress. The galaxy will subtly rotate and shift as users hover or scroll, creating a dynamic and immersive experience.

Details:

  • Animation: Stars will glow and pulse when hovered over, using framer-motion for spring physics and hover transitions.
  • Interaction: Clicking a star zooms into the corresponding step (e.g., defining the agent's purpose), with smooth transitions powered by gsap.
  • Micro-interactions: As users complete steps, stars will "light up" and connect with glowing lines, forming constellations that represent their progress.
  • Background: A living watercolor nebula that morphs colors based on the time of day, created using @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei.
  • User Feedback: Tooltips and progress indicators will appear as users interact with the galaxy map.

This concept ensures the homepage is not only visually stunning but also highly interactive, making the platform memorable and engaging for non-technical users.

7. Interaction Model & Motion Direction

Landing/Home Page:

  • Interaction Model: Parallax
  • Motion Direction: Layered depth via scroll, with decorative elements (stars, nebulae) translating at different speeds. Real content scrolls naturally, ensuring clarity and usability.
  • Section Mechanics:
    • Step-by-Step Workflow: Each section introduces a core mechanic, such as a scroll-triggered zoom into a star or a kinetic typography animation.
    • Interactive Galaxy Map: Users can drag to rotate the galaxy or click stars to navigate.

Internal Pages:

  • Interaction Model: Static
  • Motion Direction: Minimal motion for clarity, focusing on usability for dashboards, settings, and forms.

8. Non-Functional Requirements

  • Performance: The website must load within 3 seconds on standard broadband connections.
  • Scalability: Support up to 10,000 concurrent users.
  • Accessibility: WCAG 2.1 compliance to ensure usability for users with disabilities.
  • Security: Implement robust authentication and data encryption to protect user data.
  • Localization: Default locale set to India (IN), with support for multiple languages in the future.

9. Tech Stack

Frontend:

  • React for Web

Backend:

  • Python
  • FastAPI

Database:

  • MySQL or MariaDB (preferred for relational data)
  • MongoDB (for NoSQL requirements)
