1. Introduction

The sky-groom project is a digital wedding invitation website designed to celebrate the union of Rishabh Sonpure and Diksha Binjwe. The couple is getting married on 5th December, with pre-wedding festivities including a Haldi function on 3rd December and a Mehendi function on 4th December. This website aims to provide an engaging, visually appealing, and user-friendly experience for guests to access all relevant wedding details, including event timelines, locations, and celebratory visuals.

2. System Overview

The sky-groom website will serve as a digital wedding invitation platform, offering:

  • A visually stunning and interactive design to reflect the joyous occasion.
  • Smooth slides showcasing the couple's names, event details, and photos.
  • Embedded Google Maps for easy navigation to event venues.
  • Placeholder images for now, which can later be replaced with real photos.

The website will be purely informational, without RSVP functionality, and will focus on delivering a celebratory and immersive experience for guests.

3. Functional Requirements

  • As a Guest, I should be able to view the couple's names and wedding date prominently on the homepage.
  • As a Guest, I should be able to navigate through interactive slides showcasing the event details.
  • As a Guest, I should be able to view the timeline of events (Haldi on 3rd Dec, Mehendi on 4th Dec, Wedding on 5th Dec).
  • As a Guest, I should be able to see placeholder photos for each event.
  • As a Guest, I should be able to access Google Maps for the event locations directly from the website.

    • Subsequent pages will showcase the Haldi, Mehendi, and Wedding events with placeholder photos, event details, and soft background music.
