The "shiny-movie" project aims to develop an innovative application that allows users to dub any movie or anime into any language using AI-generated voices. This application is designed for the general public, enabling a wide audience to enjoy their favorite content in their preferred language.

System Overview

The shiny-movie application will provide a platform where users can select movies or anime and choose to dub them into different languages using AI-generated voices. The system will leverage advanced AI models to ensure high-quality voice dubbing, making it accessible and enjoyable for users who prefer content in various languages.

Functional Requirements

  • As a User, I should be able to select any movie or anime from the app's library.
  • As a User, I should be able to choose the language I want the content to be dubbed into.

Signature Design Concept

The shiny-movie app will feature an interactive "Dubbing Studio" homepage. Users will enter a virtual studio environment where they can see a 3D representation of a recording studio. Using @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei, users can click on different studio elements like microphones, mixing boards, and screens to initiate dubbing processes. As users hover over elements, subtle animations and sound effects will guide them through the dubbing workflow. The studio's lighting will change dynamically based on the selected language, creating an immersive experience. This interactive concept will make the dubbing process engaging and memorable.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will employ a "parallax" interaction model, providing a layered depth experience as users scroll through the page. Decorative elements like sound waves and language flags will move at different speeds, creating a dynamic storytelling effect. Internal pages, such as the dubbing interface, will use an "animated" model with scroll-triggered reveals and hover transitions to enhance user interaction without overwhelming them.

  • The application should support high-quality audio processing for dubbing.
  • The system must handle multiple language options efficiently.
  • The application should be responsive and accessible on various devices.
  • The app must ensure data privacy and security for user-uploaded content.
