The sage-art project is a vibrant and playful online platform designed to showcase and sell the artistic creations of Rupal Dadia's daughter, who has completed 25 beautiful canvas paintings. This platform will not only serve as a gallery to display her artwork but also as an interactive space where customers can purchase paintings, learn the stories behind each piece, and even request custom-made artwork tailored to their preferences. The website aims to celebrate her creativity while providing an exclusive and personalized experience for art enthusiasts.
This document outlines the system requirements for the sage-art platform, ensuring it meets the needs of its users while maintaining a colorful and engaging aesthetic.

The sage-art platform will be a web-based application that offers the following core functionalities:
- Gallery Display: A visually appealing gallery showcasing 25 canvas paintings, each accompanied by its name, size, and the story behind its creation.
- E-commerce Features: A seamless shopping experience for customers to purchase paintings directly from the website.
- Custom Orders: A feature allowing customers to submit their own design ideas and size preferences for custom paintings, with a limit of 1-2 custom orders per month.
- Playful and Colorful Design: A vibrant and engaging user interface that reflects the joyful and creative spirit of the artwork.
The platform will cater to art enthusiasts, collectors, and individuals seeking personalized artwork, providing a unique and exclusive experience.
3. Functional Requirements
Gallery and Painting Details
- As a User, I should be able to view a gallery of 25 paintings with their names, sizes, and stories.
- As a User, I should be able to click on a painting to view its details on a dedicated page.
E-commerce Features
- As a User, I should be able to purchase paintings directly from the website.
- As a User, I should be able to add paintings to a shopping cart and proceed to checkout.
- As a User, I should be able to make secure payments using multiple payment options (e.g., credit cards, UPI, PayPal).
Custom Orders
- As a User, I should be able to submit a custom painting request by providing my design idea and size preferences.
- As an Admin, I should be able to limit custom orders to 1-2 per month.
- As an Admin, I should be able to review and approve/reject custom painting requests.
Additional Features
- As a User, I should be able to read about the artist and her journey in a dedicated "About" section.
- As a User, I should be able to leave comments or reviews on purchased paintings.

1. Admin
- Role: Rupal Dadia or designated manager.
- Responsibilities: Managing the gallery, approving/rejecting custom orders, updating painting details, and monitoring sales.
2. User
- Role: Art enthusiasts, collectors, and customers.
- Responsibilities: Browsing the gallery, purchasing paintings, submitting custom orders, and leaving reviews.
