Royal-Features System Requirements Document

Introduction

This document outlines the system requirements for the "Royal-Features" project, which aims to replicate the features of a reference website under the new brand name "OVEL."

System Overview

The "Royal-Features" project is designed to create a website with a structured layout and clean design, similar to the reference provided. The focus is on document management and user-friendly navigation.

Functional Requirements

  • As a User, I should be able to manage documents efficiently.
  • As a User, I should be able to navigate the website with ease.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to customize the website layout.
  • As a Guest, I should be able to view public documents.

  • Admin: Responsible for managing website content and layout.
  • User: Regular user who manages and interacts with documents.

Signature Design Concept

The homepage will feature an interactive 3D floating island where each section of the website is represented as a building. Users can navigate between these buildings by "flying" over the island. This concept will be implemented using @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei for 3D rendering. Hovering over a building will display a preview of the section, and clicking will zoom into the section for detailed interaction.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will utilize a "parallax" interaction model, providing layered depth via scroll. Decorative layers will translate at different speeds, creating a visually rich first impression. Internal pages will maintain a "static" interaction model for clarity and ease of use.

  • The website should load within 3 seconds on standard broadband connections.
  • The system should support up to 10,000 concurrent users.
