rising-react

Introduction

The "rising-react" project aims to create a visually captivating and user-friendly website for Canvas and Cone, an artist company specializing in various art forms such as wall arts, madhubani, and pichwai. The website will be developed using React and MUI components to ensure a clean, responsive design that highlights the company's artistic offerings.

System Overview

The website for Canvas and Cone will serve as a digital portfolio and communication platform, showcasing the company's artistic projects and facilitating client engagement. The site will feature multiple sections, including a home page, about us, projects, gallery, testimonials, contact form, and a blog or news section. The use of React and MUI components will ensure a seamless and interactive user experience.

Signature Design Concept

The homepage of the Canvas and Cone website will feature an interactive "Art Gallery Walkthrough" experience. Using @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei, the homepage will simulate a 3D art gallery where users can navigate through different rooms. Each room will represent a different art style (e.g., wall arts, madhubani, pichwai) with virtual paintings hanging on the walls. Users can click on paintings to view details, and hover interactions will provide additional information about the artwork. The gallery will have ambient sound effects to enhance the immersive experience, and subtle animations will guide users through the space.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will utilize a "parallax" interaction model to create a layered depth effect as users scroll through the site. Decorative elements like floating art pieces and atmospheric particles will move at different speeds, creating a dynamic visual experience. Internal pages, such as the projects and gallery sections, will have "animated" interactions with scroll-triggered reveals and hover transitions to maintain engagement without overwhelming the user.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The website must load within 3 seconds on standard broadband connections.
  • It should be accessible and usable on both desktop and mobile devices.
  • The site must comply with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
  • The system should handle up to 10,000 concurrent users without performance degradation.
