System Requirements Document (SRD)

Project Name: red-fitness

1. Introduction

The purpose of this document is to outline the system requirements for red-fitness, a modern, mobile-friendly fitness web application designed to help users achieve their fitness goals while providing monetization opportunities for the admin. The app will focus on simplicity, speed, and user engagement, with features such as curated workout plans, video content, calorie tracking, and a manual UPI-based premium content unlock system.

This document serves as a blueprint for the development of the application, ensuring that all functional and non-functional requirements are clearly defined and aligned with the goals of the project.

2. System Overview

red-fitness is a fitness web application tailored for users in India (IN). It combines fitness tracking, curated workout programs, and monetization features to create a simple yet effective platform for fitness enthusiasts.

Key features include:

• User-friendly signup/login system.
• Dashboard with daily workout plans, calorie tracking, and step counting.
• Weight loss programs for different fitness levels.
• Curated YouTube workout videos.
• Monetization through subscription plans, premium content, and affiliate marketing.
• UPI payment integration with manual premium content unlock.

The system will be optimized for mobile devices, ensuring a seamless experience for users on the go.

3. Functional Requirements

• As a User, I should be able to sign up and log in using email or Google.

• As a User, I should be able to select weight loss programs based on my fitness level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).

• As a User, I should be able to click "I Have Paid" to unlock premium content after payment.

6. Signature Design Concept

Dynamic Fitness Dashboard with Interactive Cards

The homepage/dashboard will feature an interactive card-based design where each card represents a key feature (e.g., Daily Workout Plan, Step Counter, Calories Tracker). These cards will have subtle hover animations, such as lifting slightly off the surface and glowing with the accent color (#FF6F61).

The premium upgrade section will feature a bold, animated "Upgrade to Premium" button that pulses gently to draw attention. The UPI payment section will include a QR code scanner animation, making the payment process visually engaging.

For the Daily Rewards system, a spinning wheel animation will allow users to "spin" and earn points, adding a gamified element to the app.

The design will seamlessly switch between dark and light modes, with smooth transitions for a polished user experience.

7. Non-Functional Requirements

• The app must load within 3 seconds on mobile devices.
• The app must be responsive and optimized for screens as small as 320px wide.
• The system must support at least 1,000 concurrent users.
• The admin panel must be secure and accessible only to the admin.
