System Requirements Document (SRD) for pure-website

1. Introduction

The pure-website project is a web-based platform designed to sell third-party bracelets and necklaces, such as crystal bracelets and gemstone necklaces. This platform will combine a curated collection of jewelry with a marketplace model, allowing third-party sellers to list their products. The goal is to create a visually stunning, user-friendly, and trustworthy website that appeals to jewelry enthusiasts in Canada and beyond.

This document outlines the system requirements for the pure-website project, incorporating features for discovery, personalization, seller trust, content, social engagement, logistics, and mobile optimization. The platform will prioritize a seamless user experience while being scalable for future enhancements.

  • Social engagement features like wishlists, shareable pages, and optional user accounts.
  • Logistics support with shipping calculators, inventory tracking, and commission dashboards.
  • A premium mobile experience with fast loading and detailed product views.

The platform will be designed with scalability in mind, allowing for future integrations like influencer collaborations, limited drops, and custom order requests.

6. Signature Design Concept

"The Crystal Canvas"

The homepage of pure-website will feature an interactive, animated crystal-inspired design. Upon landing, users will see a shimmering 3D crystal that rotates slowly in the center of the screen. Each facet of the crystal represents a category (e.g., bracelets, necklaces, trending collections). Hovering over a facet will illuminate it and display a preview of the category's products.

As users scroll, the crystal will "shatter" into smaller pieces, revealing the curated collections below. Each collection will be displayed as a horizontal carousel with high-quality images that expand slightly when hovered over. Subtle animations, like sparkles and light refractions, will enhance the luxurious feel.

Micro-interactions will include:

  • A glowing effect when hovering over buttons.
  • Smooth transitions between pages with a fade-in effect.
  • A dynamic "add to wishlist" animation where the product icon gently "floats" into the wishlist.

This design will make the website feel premium, immersive, and unforgettable.
