Build a production-ready responsive multi-tenant SaaS web app for B2B wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers and especially Indian textile wholesalers. This is NOT just a digital catalog and NOT a generic e-commerce app. It is a B2B SALES OPERATING SYSTEM that helps businesses turn product interest into enquiries, enquiries into orders and existing buyers into repeat orders. CORE FLOW: PRODUCTS → CATALOG → BUYER ACTIVITY → SALES OPPORTUNITY → FOLLOW-UP → ORDER → REORDER The main dashboard question should be: “Which buyers should my sales team contact today, why, and what should they sell?” ## USER ROLES Owner/Admin: full access. Sales Manager: sales team, buyers, opportunities, orders and analytics. Salesman: assigned buyers, activity, opportunities, orders and follow-ups. Catalog Manager: products, categories and catalogs. Use role-based permissions and strict tenant data isolation. ## ADMIN PAGES Dashboard Sales Opportunities Today's Actions Buyers Products Categories Catalogs Orders Follow-ups Salesmen Analytics Pricing Settings ## DASHBOARD Prioritize actionable information. KPIs: Today's Sales Today's Orders Pending Orders Active Buyers Hot Buyers Follow-ups Due Reorder Opportunities Abandoned Orders Main section: “WHAT NEEDS MY ATTENTION TODAY?” Show: Hot Buyers Reorder Opportunities Abandoned Orders Follow-ups High Interest Products Example: Rajesh Sarees — High Intent Last order ₹18,400 Viewed 8 products Added 6 products No order Recommended: Follow up today Actions: WhatsApp / Open Buyer / Create Follow-up ## BUYERS Buyer fields: Name, Company, Phone, Email, City, State, Address, GST, Salesman, Pricing Group, Tags, Notes. Show: Total Orders Total Revenue Average Order Value First/Last Order Order Frequency Preferred Categories Preferred Products Track: Catalog Visits Product Views Searches Cart Additions Enquiries Orders Last Activity Create buyer intelligence: Engagement Score Average Reorder Interval Estimated Next Reorder Buyer Value Churn Risk Show an activity timeline such as: Catalog viewed → Product viewed → Product added → Order started → Order submitted/abandoned. ## SALES OPPORTUNITIES Automatically identify: HOT — strong recent buying activity WARM — active browsing REORDER — buyer approaching normal reorder period ABANDONED — started but did not complete order AT RISK — purchase interval exceeded INACTIVE — no recent activity Each opportunity shows buyer, salesman, last order, average order value, recent activity, products viewed, cart activity and recommended action. ## PRODUCTS Product fields: SKU, Name, Description, Category, Images, Videos, Selling Price, Cost Price, MRP, MOQ, Minimum Order Amount, Pieces Per Set, Stock, Status, Featured, New Arrival, Tags. Variants: Color, Size, Design, Variant SKU, Price, Stock, Image. Textile attributes: Fabric, Pattern, Work, Saree Type, Blouse Included, Length, Width, Weight, Collection. Make product attributes extensible for other industries. Never expose cost price to buyers. ## B2B ORDER RULES Support: MOQ Minimum Order Amount Pieces Per Set Quantity Multiples Example: MOQ 6 means 6,12,18,24 allowed. Reject 7,8,10. Validate before order submission. ## BUYER-SPECIFIC PRICING Pricing priority: 1. Buyer-specific price 2. Pricing group price 3. Product default price Pricing groups: Retailer Wholesaler Distributor VIP Custom Example: Base ₹525 Buyer A ₹525 Buyer B ₹515 Buyer C ₹505 Private pricing must never leak to another buyer. ## CATALOG Create: Public Catalog Private Catalog Buyer-Specific Catalog Features: Business branding Categories Search Filters Product grid Product details Variants MOQ Price Availability Cart Order WhatsApp Catalog must be mobile-first, fast and optimized for bulk wholesale buying. Private catalogs can restrict products/prices by buyer or group. ## BULK ORDERING Allow buyers to quickly order multiple variants. Example: Green ×2 Pink ×1 Maroon ×3 Total = 6 pcs ## ORDERS Cart: Product Variant Quantity Price Discount Tax Total Validate MOQ and quantity rules. Order statuses: Draft Enquiry Pending Confirmation Confirmed Processing Packed Shipped Delivered Cancelled Order detail must show buyer, salesman, products, pricing, notes and timeline. Allow quotation creation, PDF export and WhatsApp sharing. ## WHATSAPP Add WhatsApp actions on: Buyer Product Order Opportunity Follow-up Generate structured order messages. Create editable templates for: New Collection Follow-up Reorder Abandoned Order Price Enquiry Variables: {buyer_name} {product_name} {catalog_link} {order_number} {amount} Buyer should not need an app. ## FOLLOW-UP CRM Follow-up fields: Buyer Salesman Reason Priority Due Date Status Notes Next Action Reasons: New Lead Product Enquiry Price Enquiry Abandoned Order Reorder Inactive Buyer New Collection Payment Follow-up Statuses: Pending Contacted Interested Follow Later Converted Lost Create “Today's Actions” for salesmen with: WhatsApp Mark Done Snooze Open Buyer ## REORDER INTELLIGENCE Use rule-based logic first. Calculate each buyer's historical reorder interval. If buyer has multiple orders and current days since last order reaches about 80% of normal interval, create a Reorder Opportunity. If it exceeds 150%, mark At Risk. Make thresholds configurable. Do not pretend predictions are exact AI predictions. ## PRODUCT INTELLIGENCE Track: Most Viewed Most Ordered High View / Low Order Cart Heavy Abandoned Zero Interest Show “HIGH INTEREST / LOW CONVERSION” products using views, cart additions and orders. ## ANALYTICS Create: Catalog Analytics Buyer Analytics Product Analytics Salesman Analytics Order Analytics Metrics: Visits Unique Visitors Returning Visitors Product Views Searches Cart Additions Enquiries Orders Conversion Rate Average Order Value Revenue Filters: Date Buyer Salesman Product Category Catalog ## SALESMEN Create salesman profiles and assign buyers. Track: Assigned Buyers Follow-ups Orders Revenue Conversion Rate Average Order Value Reorders Recovered Inactive Buyers ## IMPORT / EXPORT Support CSV/Excel import for Products and Buyers. Validate: Invalid rows Duplicates Missing fields Import errors Allow export. ## DATABASE / SECURITY Use PostgreSQL with proper multi-tenancy. Core entities: Business User Buyer Salesman Product ProductVariant Category Catalog PricingGroup BuyerPrice Order OrderItem FollowUp ActivityEvent BuyerScore Every record must belong to the correct business. Enforce tenant isolation server-side. Implement: Authentication RBAC Authorization Input validation Rate limiting Secure uploads Never expose private pricing, cost price or another tenant's data. ## ACTIVITY TRACKING Track: catalog_view category_view product_view product_search repeat_product_view cart_add enquiry_started order_started order_submitted Initial engagement score: Catalog visit +1 Product view +2 Repeat view +3 Cart +5 Enquiry +8 Order +15 Use this only for ranking buyers. ## AI — FUTURE PHASE Do not make AI required for MVP. Architect for future: WhatsApp order parsing Voice-note order parsing Product matching Intent detection Follow-up recommendations Natural-language search AI sales summaries Example future message: “6 green aur 4 pink cotton wali bhej dena” System should eventually identify product, variants and quantities, validate MOQ/stock and create a draft order. ## UI Modern clean B2B SaaS design. Use: Clean cards Tables Strong typography Status badges Whitespace Responsive sidebar Fast loading Mobile-first buyer and salesman experience. Avoid: Excessive gradients Glassmorphism Unnecessary animations Meaningless charts Consumer-style shopping UI. ## TECH STACK Use React + TypeScript frontend, Node.js + TypeScript backend, PostgreSQL database, secure authentication, object storage and REST APIs. Use real persistent database operations. Do NOT create fake buttons or frontend-only functionality. Create realistic fictional demo data: 50 products 10 categories 30 buyers 5 salesmen 50+ orders Activities Follow-ups Sales opportunities ## MVP PRIORITY PHASE 1: Authentication Business Setup Products Categories Buyers Catalog Buyer Pricing MOQ Cart Orders WhatsApp PHASE 2: Buyer Activity Buyer Profiles Follow-ups Salesmen Today's Actions Sales Opportunities Reorder Intelligence PHASE 3: Analytics Product Intelligence Buyer Intelligence Salesman Analytics Quotations Excel Import/Export Private Catalogs Advanced Permissions Do NOT build full accounting, payroll, manufacturing ERP, logistics ERP or marketplace. ## ACCEPTANCE TEST Owner creates business → products → categories → buyers → salesman → pricing group → catalog → publishes. Buyer opens catalog → searches → views products → selects variants → adds products → meets MOQ → submits order. Salesman receives order → opens buyer → sees activity and history → sees recommended action → contacts buyer via WhatsApp → creates follow-up. System records activity → calculates engagement → detects abandoned orders → detects reorder opportunities → updates Sales Opportunities, Today's Actions and Analytics. CORE PROMISE: “Don’t just show your products. Know which buyers are ready to buy, follow up at the right time, and convert wholesale enquiries into repeat orders.” Build around: DISCOVER → INTEREST → FOLLOW UP → ORDER → REORDER
