FAQ
ProoveMeCommon questions about how ProoveMe turns real work into evidence-led Impacts, and who gets to see them.
An Impact is a structured record of a real piece of work: the situation, the decision you made, the action you took, the outcome, and the evidence that supports it. It is not a job title or a CV keyword. Each Impact carries provenance tags so a reader can see what is confirmed and what is still an assumption.
AI helps you get started — reading a CV or your own free-text notes to propose Impact drafts and targeted follow-up questions, and helping employers search with plain-language explanations of why a result matched. Every AI output is saved as a draft for you to review, edit, approve or reject. AI never publishes content, changes verification status or changes permissions.
Evidence is private by default. Only content you choose to publish appears on your profile, and private evidence stays private. Restricted evidence is shared only through permissions you control, and direct file access is not exposed to unauthorised people.
Verified means a real person — a colleague, manager or another appropriate verifier you invited — confirmed a specific claim or outcome. Verification is always shown as the word Verified, never by colour alone, and is never granted by AI.
Yes. Every AI-assisted step has a manual alternative: you can create and edit Impacts by hand, upload evidence yourself and write your own headline and summary. You can also opt out of AI-assisted search support as an employer.
Verified organisations send you a contact request that explains the context of the role or project. You choose whether to accept or decline, and your chosen contact details are shared only after you accept. Contact requests are rate-limited, and you can report spam or block an organisation.
You can delete your account from your profile settings. Retention and deletion rules are documented for uploaded documents, AI drafts and evidence, so you can see what is removed and when.

Every Impact carries its own status, so an assumption never reads like a proof. States are labelled in words, not colour alone.
An AI-proposed Impact, built from what you tell it and your uploaded material. It lives as a draft until you review every line.
DraftYou have read it, corrected it and approved it. Approved by you is not the same as verified by someone else.
Approved by youA file or link is attached to the Impact, and its privacy setting is yours to choose. Evidence sits beside the claim, not inside it.
Evidence attachedA named person invited to confirm this specific claim has confirmed it, after their own identity check.
VerifiedEvery state is reachable without AI. You can write, edit and approve Impacts by hand from start to finish.
AI cannot publish content, change a verification status or change permissions. Publishing needs your explicit approval.
