1. WhatsApp Food Ordering & Kitchen Micro SaaS Target: Small restaurants, cloud kitchens, home bakers, burger stalls. Core flow: Customer sends: “I want 2 burgers, 1 cheese pizza, soda” Or picks from a menu via keywords: “Show menu”, “Burgers”, “Drinks”. Your system: Parses the order (items, quantities, notes). Checks availability / inventory. Sends a confirmation: “Your order: 2 burgers, 1 pizza, 1 soda. Total: LKR 3,200. Delivery in 30 mins?” Takes payment link or cash-on-delivery confirmation. Sends status updates: “Order confirmed”, “Preparing”, “Out for delivery”. Micro SaaS features: Simple menu builder (items, prices, images). Order inbox for you (with filters: new, confirmed, ready, delivered). Daily summary: orders, revenue, popular items. Low inventory alerts (“Only 5 burgers left”). Why it’s good for Sri Lanka: Many small food businesses already use WhatsApp manually; they copy-paste orders into Excel or paper. A cheap, WhatsApp-native tool (LKR 1,000–3,000/month) is very attractive vs. full platforms. Global proof: “Tiffin and food order bot” and WhatsApp order management micro SaaS are explicitly listed as proven ideas with real revenue. build me this micro saas

Signature Design Concept

The landing page will feature an interactive "Order Journey" animation. As users scroll, they will see a visual representation of an order moving through different stages: from being placed, to preparation, to delivery. Each stage will be animated with smooth transitions using motion/react. Users can hover over each stage to see detailed information and micro-interactions, such as a burger being assembled or a delivery scooter moving. This dynamic storytelling will make the process engaging and intuitive.

Landing Hero Motion Brief

The hero section will depict a customer's order transforming into a prepared meal ready for delivery. The animation will start with a WhatsApp message bubble appearing, followed by the order items assembling into a meal. The meal will then transition into a delivery scooter animation, symbolizing the journey to the customer. This loop will last 10 seconds, using motion/react for seamless transitions. The animation will pause on hover, allowing users to interact with each stage.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

  • Intended Interaction Model: Animated
  • The landing page will feature scroll-triggered reveals and hover transitions to enhance user engagement. Each section will have a unique interactive element, such as kinetic typography or morphing SVGs, to maintain visual interest.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system must be reliable and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
  • It should be scalable to accommodate growing business needs.
  • The interface must be user-friendly and intuitive for both customers and business owners.

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React for Web
  • Backend: Python, FastAPI
  • Database: MySQL or MariaDB
  • AI Models: GPT 5.4 for user-friendly responses
  • Local Orchestration: Docker, docker-compose

Assumptions and Constraints

  • The system assumes customers are familiar with WhatsApp and can send orders using text messages.
  • The pricing model is based on the affordability for small businesses in Sri Lanka.
  • The system must comply with local regulations regarding online transactions and data privacy.
