System Documentation & SRD
A comprehensive reference for ContractPilot AMC’s design, architecture, and functional requirements
This document outlines the product scope, user stories, personas, core flows, and design system tokens that guide the application’s development and usage.
1. Introduction
The purpose of this document is to outline the system requirements for ContractPilot AMC, a vertical micro-SaaS application designed to streamline the management of annual maintenance contracts (AMC) and recurring service agreements for small and mid-sized service companies. This SRD serves as a single source of truth for the product’s functional scope, user expectations, and design system.
2. System Overview
ContractPilot AMC is a focused operating system for managing annual maintenance contracts and recurring service agreements. It is specifically designed for service companies that currently rely on spreadsheets, WhatsApp, and disconnected field-service tools to manage contract schedules, renewal reminders, site visits, and billing. The application mitigates business risks associated with missed visits, late invoicing, weak documentation, and lost renewals by providing a centralised platform for these operations.
The platform consolidates contract lifecycle management, preventive maintenance scheduling, technician visit tracking, recurring billing, and breakdown analysis into one seamless experience. It empowers service managers, technicians, and administrative staff with real‑time visibility and automated workflows.
