System Requirements Document for project-7927e5a8

Introduction

This document outlines the system requirements for project-7927e5a8, a CRM and VRM solution tailored for the textiles industry. The project focuses on managing suppliers and purchase orders with lifecycle tracking, as well as providing administrative functionalities.

System Overview

Project-7927e5a8 aims to streamline the management of supplier relationships (CRM) and buyer relationships (VRM) within the textiles industry. The system will facilitate efficient handling of purchase orders, supplier interactions, and administrative tasks through dedicated modules.

Functional Requirements as Story Points

  • As a Supplier Manager, I should be able to manage supplier information and interactions.
  • As a Buyer Manager, I should be able to manage buyer information and interactions.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to oversee and manage both CRM and VRM modules.
  • As a User, I should be able to track the lifecycle of purchase orders.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to access a dashboard for the CRM module to view key metrics and insights.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to access a dashboard for the VRM module to view key metrics and insights.

User Personas

  • Supplier Manager: Manages supplier relationships and ensures smooth communication and transactions.
  • Buyer Manager: Manages buyer relationships and oversees purchase order processes.
  • Admin: Oversees the entire system, manages user roles, and ensures data integrity and security.

Core User Flows

  • Supplier Manager updates supplier details -> interacts with suppliers -> tracks supplier performance.
  • Buyer Manager creates purchase orders -> monitors order lifecycle -> updates order status.
  • Admin accesses CRM dashboard -> reviews supplier metrics -> generates reports.
  • Admin accesses VRM dashboard -> reviews buyer metrics -> generates reports.

Signature Design Concept

The homepage will feature an interactive textile pattern generator. Users can click and drag to weave different patterns, which dynamically update in real-time. This concept will use motion/react for smooth animations and transitions, creating an engaging experience that reflects the creativity and dynamism of the textile industry.

Landing Hero Motion Brief

The hero section will depict a loom weaving a fabric pattern. As users scroll, the loom will animate, showing threads interlacing to form a complete textile design. This continuous loop will highlight the transformation from raw material to finished product, symbolizing the project's focus on lifecycle management. The animation will be built using motion/react for seamless integration and responsiveness.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will use an "animated" interaction model, featuring scroll-triggered reveals and hover transitions. This approach will enhance user engagement while maintaining clarity and focus on the core functionalities of the CRM and VRM modules.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system should ensure data security and integrity.
  • The application must be scalable to accommodate increasing numbers of users and data.
  • The system should provide a responsive design for accessibility on various devices.
