The pearl-hi project is a specialized platform designed to streamline operations for tractor service businesses in India, with a focus on Hindi-speaking users. This document outlines the system requirements for the project, incorporating the latest updates requested by Krish Boricha. The platform will cater to the needs of tractor operators and their customers, ensuring ease of use, transparency, and efficiency in billing, booking, and reporting.

2. System Overview

The pearl-hi system aims to provide a comprehensive solution for tractor service businesses, enabling seamless management of bookings, billing, and customer interactions. The platform will prioritize accessibility for Hindi-speaking users while maintaining a professional and user-friendly interface. Key features include:

  • Multilingual support with a focus on Hindi and English.
  • Tractor booking and scheduling system.
  • Automated billing and payment tracking.
  • Comprehensive reporting for business insights.
  • Mobile-friendly design for on-the-go access.

The system will leverage modern technologies and AI models to ensure accuracy, scalability, and reliability.

  • As a User, I should be able to book a tractor for specific dates and times.
  • As a User, I should be able to view and download bills for completed services.
  • As a User, I should be able to track my payment history.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to manage customer details and tractor availability.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • As a Guest, I should be able to explore services and contact the business without creating an account.

The pearl-hi system will cater to the following user personas:

To resonate with the Indian agricultural audience and the focus on Hindi-speaking users, the following unique color palette has been designed for pearl-hi:

  • Background: #F5F5DC (Beige Cream)
  • Surface: #FFF3E0 (Soft Peach)
  • Text: #2E7D32 (Forest Green)
  • Accent: #FFB300 (Golden Amber)
  • Muted Tones: #A1887F (Earthy Brown)

This palette reflects the warmth and earthiness of rural India, creating a visually appealing and culturally relevant user experience.

6. Signature Design Concept

The pearl-hi homepage will feature a dynamic tractor field animation. Upon landing, users will see a 3D-rendered tractor moving across a lush green field, leaving behind trails of plowed soil. This animation will symbolize the core purpose of the platform — empowering agricultural businesses.

Key elements:

  • Interactive Background: The field will subtly change based on the time of day (morning, afternoon, evening) with corresponding lighting effects.
  • Hover Effects: When users hover over the tractor, it will display a tooltip with a fun fact about tractor services or farming.
  • Micro-Interactions: Buttons will have a "soil ripple" effect, mimicking the movement of a tractor wheel.
  • Typography: A combination of clean sans-serif fonts for English and traditional Devanagari fonts for Hindi, ensuring readability and cultural alignment.

This design will create a memorable first impression, blending modern aesthetics with the essence of rural India.
