Interactive Trading Dashboard

The homepage of Onyx-Trading will feature an interactive trading dashboard that combines real-time data visualization with an engaging user interface.

  • Key Features:

    • A 3D rotating globe (using @react-three/fiber) that highlights global trading markets. Users can click on regions to view market-specific data.
    • Dynamic charts (using react-chartjs-2) that update in real-time to display trading signals, portfolio performance, and market trends.
    • Hover effects: Hovering over charts or data points will display detailed tooltips with actionable insights.
    • Customizable widgets: Users can drag and drop widgets (e.g., signal alerts, portfolio summaries, news feeds) to personalize their dashboard.
  • Animations:

    • Smooth transitions between sections using framer-motion.
    • Real-time updates with spring physics for interactive elements.

This design ensures that users are not only informed but also engaged, making trading decisions more intuitive and enjoyable.

7. Interaction Model & Motion Direction

Interaction Model: Parallax

The landing page will use a parallax interaction model to create a sense of depth and immersion. Key elements include:

  • Layered depth: Background elements (e.g., market maps, data grids) will move at different speeds during scroll.
  • Scroll-triggered animations: Sections will reveal content dynamically as users scroll through the page.
  • Interactive elements: Hover states, clickable widgets, and drag-and-drop functionality will enhance user engagement.

For internal pages, such as dashboards and settings, a static interaction model will be used to prioritize clarity and usability.

8. Non-Functional Requirements

  • Performance: The system must handle up to 1 million concurrent users with minimal latency.
  • Scalability: The architecture should support future expansion to additional markets and features.
  • Security: Implement robust encryption and authentication mechanisms to protect user data.
  • Availability: Ensure 99.9% uptime with failover mechanisms.
  • Localization: Support multiple languages, starting with English and Hindi.

9. Tech Stack

Frontend

  • React for Web
  • React Native for Mobile

Backend

  • Python
  • FastAPI

Database

  • MySQL for RDBMS
  • MongoDB for NoSQL

AI Models

  • GPT 5.4 for user-friendly responses
  • Claude 4.6 Opas for coding and academic work

AI Tools

  • Langchain
