The purpose of this document is to outline the system requirements for the "onyx-todo" project, a straightforward and simple to-do list web application designed for personal use. The focus is on providing a clean and intuitive interface for basic task management.

The system will support basic task management functionalities, including the ability to create, read, update, and delete tasks. Signature Design Concept

The onyx-todo application will feature an interactive "Task Spiral" on the homepage. This spiral will visually represent tasks as nodes on a spiral path. Users can click on a node to expand the task details, drag nodes to reorder tasks, and hover over nodes to see quick task summaries. The spiral will animate gently, creating a dynamic and engaging experience. This concept will be implemented using framer-motion for smooth animations and react-icons for intuitive task icons.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will utilize a "parallax" interaction model to create a sense of depth and engagement. The Task Spiral will be the focal point, with layers of background elements moving at different speeds as the user scrolls. This approach will provide a visually rich first impression while keeping the core content easily accessible.

Internal pages, such as task detail views, will adopt a "static" interaction model to prioritize readability and functionality over visual effects.

Non-Functional Requirements

• The application should load within 2 seconds on a standard broadband connection.
• The user interface should be responsive and accessible on both desktop and mobile devices.
• The system should handle up to 1,000 tasks per user without performance degradation.
