System Requirements Document (SRD) for lemon-jameen

1. Introduction

The lemon-jameen project is a large-scale land development initiative focused on plotting 238 bighas of land in India. The project aims to create a detailed and financially viable plan for land plotting, including financial projections, investment breakdowns, and profit analysis. This document outlines the system requirements for the project, ensuring clarity for stakeholders, investors, and loan providers.

The project is designed to cater to both residential and commercial needs, with a focus on maximizing profitability while maintaining sustainable development practices. The financial model includes a 10% investor contribution and 100% loan financing.

2. System Overview

The lemon-jameen project involves the following key components:

  1. Land Plotting: Dividing 238 bighas of land into individual plots of varying sizes.
  2. Financial Planning: Detailed investment breakdown, including development costs, investor contributions, and loan requirements.
  3. Profit Analysis: Estimation of total revenue from plot sales and expected profit margins.
  4. Infrastructure Development: Planning for roads, electricity, water supply, and other essential amenities.
  5. Market Viability: Analysis of current market rates and demand for plots in the target area.

The system will provide a comprehensive project report (DPR) to guide decision-making and attract investors.

3. Functional Requirements

  • As a User, I should be able to calculate the total number of plots based on the land area and average plot size.
  • As a User, I should be able to input development costs for infrastructure like roads, electricity, and water supply.
  • As a User, I should be able to input the market rate per plot to calculate total revenue.
  • As a User, I should be able to view the total investment required, including investor contributions and loan amounts.
  • As a User, I should be able to view the expected profit based on revenue and investment.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to generate a detailed project report (DPR) with all financial projections and planning details.

4. User Personas

4.1 Admin

  • Role: Project Manager or Developer
  • Responsibilities: Inputting data, generating reports, and overseeing project execution.
  • Goals: Ensure the project is financially viable and meets stakeholder expectations.

4.2 Investor

  • Role: Financial Contributor
  • Responsibilities: Reviewing project reports and providing 10% of the required investment.
  • Goals: Assess the profitability and risk of the project.

4.3 Loan Provider

  • Role: Bank or Financial Institution
  • Responsibilities: Evaluating the project report for loan approval.
  • Goals: Ensure the project is a safe and profitable investment.

5. Visuals Colors and Theme

The lemon-jameen project will use a vibrant and earthy color palette to reflect its connection to land development and financial growth. The design tokens are as follows:

  • primary: #2E7D32 (Forest Green)
  • primary_light: #66BB6A (Light Green)
  • secondary: #FF8F00 (Amber)
  • accent: #D32F2F (Crimson Red)
  • highlight: #FFC107 (Golden Yellow)
  • bg: #F5F5F5 (Light Gray)
  • surface: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.9) (White with slight transparency)
  • text: #212121 (Dark Gray)
  • text_muted: #757575 (Muted Gray)
  • border: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1) (Subtle Black)

6. Signature Design Concept

Interactive Land Plotting Map

The homepage will feature an interactive 3D land plotting map powered by @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei. Users can:

  • Zoom and Pan: Explore the 238 bighas of land in a 3D environment.
  • Click on Plots: View details like size, price, and availability for each plot.
  • Drag to Reorganize: Simulate different plotting layouts by dragging plot boundaries.
  • Dynamic Pricing: Hover over plots to see real-time price calculations based on market rates.

The map will have smooth transitions and animations using gsap for a polished user experience. The background will feature a subtle gradient animation representing sunrise to sunset, symbolizing growth and prosperity.

7. Interaction Model & Motion Direction

Interaction Model: Parallax

The landing page will use a parallax interaction model to create a sense of depth and engagement. Key features include:

  • Layered Backgrounds: Moving layers of land, sky, and infrastructure as the user scrolls.
  • Scroll-Triggered Animations: Key statistics (e.g., total plots, investment, profit) will animate into view as users scroll.
  • Hover Effects: Interactive elements like buttons and plots will have hover animations with spring physics using framer-motion.

Internal pages, such as the financial projections and project report sections, will adopt a static interaction model for clarity and readability.

8. Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system must support high performance for rendering 3D maps and animations.
  • The system must be mobile-responsive for accessibility on smartphones and tablets.
  • The system must ensure data security for financial and project details.
  • The system must support multi-language options, including English and Hindi.

9. Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React for Web
  • Backend: Python with FastAPI
  • Database: MySQL with Alembic for migrations
  • AI Models: GPT 5.4 for user-friendly responses
  • AI Tools: Langchain, Litellm for LLM Routing
  • Orchestration: Docker, docker-compose, Kubernetes

10. Assumptions and Constraints

  • The average plot size is assumed to be 200 sq. yards unless specified otherwise.
  • Development costs are estimated based on current market rates for infrastructure.
  • The project timeline is assumed to be 24 months for completion.
  • Loan approval is contingent on the detailed project report meeting financial institution criteria.

11. Glossary

  • Bigha: A traditional unit of land measurement in India, varying by region.
  • DPR: Detailed Project Report, a comprehensive document outlining project details.
  • LLM: Large Language Model, used for AI-driven responses.
  • Parallax: A design technique where background elements move slower than foreground elements, creating depth.
  • Plotting: The process of dividing land into smaller plots for sale or development.
