Below is short description about greenback cash project. I have reviewed the project documents, and this is my understanding of the overall flow from the QA perspective. Greenback Cash is a cashback and rewards platform where consumers can get rewards for eligible purchases. The main flow starts with the Operations team, which creates and configures the campaign. They can configure things like the offer, product, eligible locations, dates, frequency, and budget. After that, the consumer completes the onboarding process, which includes signup, 21+ age verification, OTP verification, and platform-level consent. Once the consumer is onboarded, the system checks the available campaigns and shows the eligible offers to the consumer. The consumer can also add eligible offers to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The wallet and location functionality can help with relevant offer/proximity experiences. After that, the consumer visits an eligible dispensary and purchases the eligible product. The dispensary/shop provides the customer with a receipt, and the consumer then scans, captures, or uploads the receipt in the application. Once the receipt is uploaded, the system first performs receipt quality validation to check whether the receipt is suitable for processing. Then the receipt goes through OCR and AI processing. The system extracts the information from the receipt and tries to identify and match the purchased product with the configured product or SKU. After product matching, the system performs verification based on the campaign rules. For example, it checks whether the product is eligible, whether the dispensary is eligible, whether the consumer has already claimed the offer, and whether the frequency or duplicate rules are satisfied. If all the required conditions are satisfied, the reward is calculated and added to the consumer's reward ledger. Once the consumer becomes eligible for cash-out, they can request a cash-out or payout. On the Operations side, there is also float and liability monitoring. This helps monitor the available payout funds against the outstanding consumer reward liability. Finally, important activities and actions throughout the system are maintained in the audit trail, so that the activities can be tracked and reviewed when required. There is also a manual review flow for cases where OCR or AI cannot confidently identify or match the receipt or product. In such cases, Operations can review the receipt and take the appropriate action. From the QA perspective, I would mainly focus on validating the complete end-to-end flow as well as each individual module. I would cover positive and negative scenarios, receipt validation, OCR/AI matching, duplicate and frequency validations, reward calculation, ledger updates, cash-out/payout, permissions, notifications, audit logs, API validation, and data consistency between different modules. The overall flow that I understand is: Operations Campaign Setup → Consumer Onboarding → Wallet Pass → Eligible Offer → Dispensary Purchase → Receipt Capture/Upload → Receipt Quality Validation → OCR/AI Product Matching → Verification → Reward Ledger → Cash-Out/Payout → Float/Liability Monitoring → Audit. So, in simple terms, the main purpose of the system is to connect a campaign and eligible offer with a consumer's purchase, verify the purchase through the receipt, calculate the appropriate reward, and finally provide the cashback to the consumer while maintaining proper financial monitoring and audit tracking. In this project we want to write unclaimbed balance test cases and for that test case create one sheet.
