The "icy-litigation" project aims to present a comprehensive digital platform for legal services, focusing on litigation and corporate law. The platform will provide a detailed taxonomy of legal practice areas and sub-specialisations, making it accessible to public legal-services visitors. The design will incorporate a distinctive visual identity inspired by Virgil Abloh's streetwear energy, emphasizing precision and industrial chic.
The system will deliver a public-facing digital experience that organizes and presents legal practice areas and sub-specialisations across five top-level domains: Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Corporate & Commercial, Technology, IP & Media, Regulatory & Specialised Practice, and Government, Public Law & Policy. The platform will be accessible without requiring user identity, ensuring easy navigation and exploration of the legal taxonomy.
The platform will be delivered as a custom UI with three main pages: Landing, Practice Areas, and Practice Area Details. Each page will serve a specific function in guiding users through the legal taxonomy. The system will not include user account management or personalized content, focusing instead on providing public access to legal information.

The Landing page will feature a full-screen hero with a centered bold headline in Archivo Black on a textured black background. Safety orange accents and industrial motifs will be used to create a bold and memorable first impression. Navigation will utilize exposed grid lines and industrial tag styles, with marquee text in safety orange scrolling across the hero.

“icy-litigation” is a public reference platform that organises legal practice areas into a single, navigable taxonomy — no account, no gatekeeping. Every practice area is catalogued with its sub-specialisations so visitors researching a matter, whether a criminal trial, a commercial contract, or a regulatory filing, can locate the relevant field of law without friction.
The index is structured across five top-level domains, each holding a set of practice areas and their sub-specialisations — from bail applications to boardroom governance, from trademark disputes to treaty work.
Criminal defence, civil recovery, family matters and property disputes carried through trial, appeal and arbitration.
Company law compliance, contract drafting, mergers, banking, insolvency and capital markets advisory.
Intellectual property, cyber law, data privacy, technology agreements and media & e-commerce contracts.
Real estate, environmental, insurance, healthcare, immigration, energy, telecom, aviation and maritime regulation.
Administrative law, legislative policy advisory, election law, human rights and cross-border international matters.
