System Overview

"hollow-game" is a multi-level game where players control Mario in a quest to save Princess Peach from marrying Donkey Kong. The game features various environments such as jungle, lava, and water, each with its own set of challenges and enemies. Players must navigate through these levels, overcoming obstacles and defeating enemies to progress and ultimately rescue Princess Peach.

Signature Design Concept

The homepage of "hollow-game" will feature an interactive 3D jungle scene using @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei. Players will navigate through a virtual jungle environment where each section of the homepage represents a different level or feature of the game. As users hover over different areas, animations will trigger, showcasing snippets of gameplay and storyline elements. Clicking on these areas will provide more detailed information or previews of the game. The scene will include dynamic lighting and subtle animations, such as swaying trees and flowing water, to create an immersive experience.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will utilize a "parallax" interaction model, providing a layered depth effect as users scroll through the page. Decorative elements like atmospheric blobs and distant shapes will move at different speeds, creating a sense of depth. Real content will remain in the normal flow, ensuring a natural scrolling experience. Each section will have a distinctive core mechanic, such as a 3D scene or kinetic typography, to maintain visual interest and engagement.
