System Requirements Document (SRD)

Project Name: heroic-dashboard

1. Introduction

The heroic-dashboard is a sleek, modern dashboard application designed with a focus on aesthetics and usability. It incorporates a glassmorphism design style, featuring transparency effects, curved angles, and a blurred office background to create a professional and visually appealing interface. This dashboard is tailored to meet the needs of users in Algeria (DZ), ensuring locale-specific considerations such as language, currency, and timezone are seamlessly integrated.

The goal of this document is to outline the functional and non-functional requirements, design elements, and technical specifications necessary to develop the heroic-dashboard.

2. System Overview

The heroic-dashboard is a web-based application designed to provide users with an intuitive and visually stunning interface for managing tasks, data, and workflows. The system will feature:

  • A glassmorphism design with transparent buttons and cards.
  • A blurred office background (50% blur) to add depth and style.
  • Curved angles for a softer, modern look.
  • Functional buttons, modals, and pages to ensure usability.
  • Sidebar navigation for efficient access to features.

This dashboard is intended for general-purpose use, adaptable to various applications such as analytics, project management, or customer relationship management (CRM).

3. Functional Requirements

  • As a User, I should be able to navigate the dashboard using a sidebar with curved buttons.
  • As a User, I should see transparent buttons and cards with no edge colors.
  • As a User, I should experience a blurred office background (50% blur) that enhances the visual appeal.
  • As a User, I should have proper spacing across all elements for readability and usability.
  • As a User, I should see clear and visible fonts and text across all parts of the dashboard.
  • As a User, I should be able to interact with all buttons and modals across all pages.
  • As a User, I should have access to fully functional pages for all features.

Home Page / Landing Page

  • Background: A blurred office image (50% blur) that dynamically adjusts brightness based on the time of day (lighter during the day, darker at night).
  • Interactive Sidebar: Curved, semi-transparent buttons that glow subtly when hovered over.
  • Cards and Modals: Transparent with a frosted glass effect, featuring smooth animations when opening or closing.
  • Micro-Interactions: Buttons and icons will have subtle hover effects, such as slight scaling or color shifts.
  • Typography: Modern sans-serif fonts with clear visibility, ensuring readability across all screen sizes.
  • Transitions: Smooth page transitions with fade-in and slide effects to enhance the user experience.

This design will create an unforgettable first impression, combining functionality with a visually stunning aesthetic.

7. Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system must load within 3 seconds on a standard broadband connection.
  • The dashboard must be responsive and accessible on desktop and mobile devices.
  • All text must meet WCAG AA standards for contrast and readability.
  • The system must support both English and French languages for Algerian users.
  • The backend must handle up to 10,000 concurrent users.

9. Assumptions and Constraints

  • The dashboard will primarily target users in Algeria, so locale-specific defaults (e.g., timezone, currency) will be implemented.
  • The system will be deployed on a cloud-based infrastructure to ensure scalability.
  • The design will prioritize modern browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge) and may not fully support older versions of Internet Explorer.

10. Glossary

  • Glassmorphism: A design trend characterized by transparency, blur effects, and soft edges.
  • Modals: Pop-up windows that overlay the main content to display additional information or options.
  • WCAG: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, a set of standards for making web content accessible to all users.
  • LLM Routing: Large Language Model Routing, a method for directing user queries to the appropriate AI model.
