The purpose of this System Requirements Document (SRD) is to outline the functional and non-functional requirements for the "hardy-site" project. The "hardy-site" is a website and AI agency focused on serving local businesses with affordable, tailored solutions. The primary offering of the agency is website development, complemented by small AI integrations to enhance business operations.

This document serves as a blueprint for the development of the hardy-site, ensuring that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the project's goals, features, and technical requirements.

The target audience for the hardy-site includes small and medium-sized local businesses in Belgium (BE) seeking professional websites and simple AI solutions to enhance their digital presence.

6. Signature Design Concept

Interactive Portfolio Showcase with Dynamic Filters

The homepage will feature an interactive portfolio section that allows visitors to explore past projects in an engaging way. The portfolio will be displayed as a dynamic grid of cards, each representing a project.

Key Features:

  • Hover Effects: When a user hovers over a card, it will expand slightly, revealing a brief description of the project.
  • Dynamic Filters: Visitors can filter projects by category (e.g., websites, AI integrations) using a set of toggle buttons or dropdowns.
  • Click-to-Expand: Clicking on a card will open a modal with more detailed information about the project, including images, client testimonials, and project outcomes.
  • Smooth Animations: Transitions between filters and modal views will be powered by framer-motion for a polished, modern feel.

This interactive portfolio will not only showcase the agency's capabilities but also engage visitors, encouraging them to explore more and build trust in the agency's expertise.

7. Interaction Model & Motion Direction

Interaction Model: Parallax

The landing page will utilize a parallax interaction model to create a sense of depth and engagement. Key elements, such as the hero section, portfolio grid, and call-to-action buttons, will move at different speeds as the user scrolls, creating a dynamic and immersive experience.

Motion Direction:

  • Hero Section: Subtle zoom-in effect on the background image as the page loads.
  • Portfolio Grid: Smooth hover animations and spring physics for card interactions.
  • Call-to-Action Buttons: Bounce effect on hover to draw attention.
  • Scroll-Triggered Animations: Key sections (e.g., Services, About Us) will fade in and slide up as they come into view.
