The purpose of this document is to outline the system requirements for the "Gamma-Bot" project, which involves creating a premium, fully responsive restaurant website for Bella Vista Restaurant. The website will be designed to reflect luxury fine dining with a modern and elegant aesthetic, incorporating smooth animations and fast-loading capabilities.

The Gamma-Bot project aims to deliver a sophisticated online presence for Bella Vista Restaurant, enhancing user experience through a visually appealing and functionally robust website. The website will feature a range of sections including a hero section, navigation bar, about section, menu, chef details, gallery, testimonials, reservation system, contact information, and additional features like online ordering and live chat. The design will incorporate modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Tailwind CSS, ensuring responsiveness across all devices.

3. Functional Requirements

  • As a Visitor, I should be able to view a full-screen background image/video with the restaurant logo and a catchy headline.
  • As a Visitor, I should be able to navigate through the website using a sticky navbar with options like Home, About, Menu, Gallery, Chef, Testimonials, Reservation, and Contact.
  • As a Visitor, I should be able to view the restaurant's story, high-quality images, years of experience, and awards in the About section.
  • As a Visitor, I should be able to browse the menu with categories such as Starters, Main Course, Pizza, Burgers, Pasta, Seafood, Desserts, and Drinks.

Hovering over a table will reveal a preview of the section, and clicking will transport the user to that part of the site. The dining room will be elegantly decorated with ambient lighting and subtle animations, creating an immersive experience.

The landing page will utilize a "parallax" interaction model, providing layered depth via scroll. Decorative elements like ambient lighting and dining room decor will translate at different speeds, while content remains in normal flow. Internal pages will adopt a "static" model for clarity and ease of use.

  • The website must load within 3 seconds on a standard broadband connection.
  • It should be accessible and comply with WCAG 2.1 standards.
