I need a basic website for tracking student attendance. The website will have two types of users: Adults/Supervisors and Students. Adult/Supervisor Features Log into an adult/supervisor account. View a list of all students. See which students are currently present and which students have left. See the exact time each student checked in. See the exact time each student checked out. View attendance records from previous days. Add or remove students from the list. Have control over the attendance records so students cannot change other students' information. Student Features Log into or select their own student account. Check in when they arrive. Check out when they leave. The website automatically records the date and time of each check-in and check-out. Main Dashboard The adult should be able to quickly see something like: Student Status Time In Time Out Alex Present 8:04 AM — Jordan Left 8:10 AM 3:32 PM Taylor Present 8:01 AM — Chris Not Here — — The website should be simple, easy to use, mobile-friendly, and not overly complicated. The main goal is to make it easy for adults to know which students are present and to keep an accurate record of when students arrive and leave. For the first version, I do not need advanced features such as GPS tracking, payroll, scheduling, or complicated reporting.
