Feral-Lease System Requirements Document

Introduction

The Feral-Lease project aims to develop an AI-powered lease agreement generator mobile app for Android. This application is designed to streamline the creation of lease agreements, targeting landlords, tenants, and real estate agencies. The app will support various property types, including houses, apartments, residential, and commercial buildings, and will allow users to export generated leases as PDFs.

System Overview

Feral-Lease is an Android application that leverages AI to generate lease agreements efficiently. The app is tailored for landlords, tenants, and real estate agencies, providing a user-friendly interface to create, customize, and export lease documents. By supporting multiple property types, the app ensures versatility and broad applicability across different leasing scenarios.

Functional Requirements

  • As a Landlord, I should be able to generate lease agreements for houses, apartments, and commercial buildings.
  • As a Tenant, I should be able to review and sign lease agreements digitally.
  • As a Real Estate Agent, I should be able to customize lease agreements for different property types.
  • As a User, I should be able to export the generated lease agreement as a PDF.
  • As a User, I should be able to select the property type (house, apartment, residential, commercial) for the lease agreement.

Signature Design Concept

The Feral-Lease app will feature an interactive "Blueprint Builder" homepage. This concept transforms the landing page into a dynamic blueprint of a building. Users can click on different sections of the blueprint to navigate through the app's features. Each section will animate open with a smooth transition, revealing detailed options for lease generation. The blueprint will have pencil-sketch animations that give a sense of drafting a real lease agreement. This interactive experience will be built using framer-motion for animations and react-icons for intuitive navigation cues.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will utilize a "parallax" interaction model, providing a layered depth effect as users scroll through the content. Decorative elements like blueprint lines and icons will move at different speeds, creating a visually engaging storytelling experience. Internal pages, such as the lease editor and settings, will adopt a "static" model for clarity and ease of use.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The app should be responsive and perform well on various Android devices.
  • PDF exports should maintain high quality and be compatible with standard PDF readers.
  • The system should ensure data privacy and security for all users.

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React Native for Android mobile app development.
  • Backend: Python with FastAPI for API development.
  • Database: MySQL for structured data storage.
  • AI Models: GPT 5.4 for generating user-friendly lease agreements.
  • AI Tools: Langchain for LLM Routing.
  • Orchestration: Docker for local development and Kubernetes for server-side orchestration.
