Introduction

The "eagle-idea" project is focused on developing a comprehensive website for the nonprofit organization "InsideOut Outreach." This organization is dedicated to assisting individuals serving life sentences in their efforts to obtain freedom through appeals and clemency. The website will serve as a platform to inform, engage, and solicit support from donors.

System Overview

The website for "InsideOut Outreach" will consist of several key pages, including Home, About Us, FAQ, and Contact Us. The site will also feature content that highlights the organization's mission, success stories, and ways for donors to contribute. The system will leverage autonomous content generation to ensure dynamic and relevant updates without requiring specific user direction.

Signature Design Concept

The homepage will feature an interactive 3D prison cell that transforms into a garden as users scroll. This metaphorical transition from confinement to freedom will be powered by @react-three/fiber and gsap. Users can click on elements within the scene to learn more about the organization's impact, view success stories, and find donation opportunities. The garden will grow and change with each interaction, symbolizing hope and transformation.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will employ a "parallax" interaction model, creating a layered depth effect as users scroll. This will be complemented by animated transitions and hover effects to enhance user engagement. Internal pages will maintain a "static" model for clarity and ease of navigation.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The website must be accessible and responsive across all devices.
  • Content updates should occur autonomously with minimal manual intervention.
  • The system should support high traffic volumes without performance degradation.

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React for Web
  • Backend: Python, FastAPI
  • Database: MySQL or MariaDB, using Alembic for migrations
  • AI Tools: Claude 4.6 Opas for content generation
  • Local Orchestration: Docker, docker-compose
  • Server-side Orchestration: Kubernetes
