System Requirement Document

System Requirements Document (SRD)

Project Name: deep-prompt

1. Introduction

The deep-prompt project is designed to streamline the creation of Flutter SaaS flavor setups by automating the generation of all necessary configurations, files, and folder structures. This tool is intended to simplify the multi-flavor setup process for developers, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and ease of deployment.

This document outlines the system requirements for the deep-prompt project, tailored to meet the needs of Nishant Padhiyar, based in India (IN). Locale-specific considerations, such as time zones and language defaults, have been incorporated where relevant.

2. System Overview

The deep-prompt system will:

  1. Accept user inputs such as App Name and Vendor ID.
  2. Automatically generate a lowercase flavor key based on the App Name.
  3. Create and configure all necessary files, folders, and configurations for a Flutter SaaS flavor setup.
  4. Consolidate all generated outputs into a single downloadable zip file for easy sharing and deployment.
  5. Provide a ready-to-run Flutter command for the generated flavor.

The system will be designed for developers who need a fast, reliable, and automated way to manage Flutter multi-flavor projects.

3. Functional Requirements

  • As a User, I should be able to input the App Name and Vendor ID.
  • As a User, I should be able to generate a lowercase flavor key automatically from the App Name.
  • As a User, I should be able to create and configure all necessary folders and files for the flavor.
  • As a User, I should be able to consolidate all generated outputs into a single zip file.
  • As a User, I should be able to view a README file summarizing the flavor details and run command.
  • As a User, I should be able to run the generated Flutter flavor using the provided command.

4. User Personas

4.1 Developer

  • Description: A software developer working on Flutter projects requiring multi-flavor setups.
  • Goals: Automate repetitive tasks, ensure consistency, and save time.
  • Pain Points: Manual configuration errors, time-consuming setup processes, and lack of standardization.

5. Visuals Colors and Theme

Unique Color Palette for deep-prompt:

  • Background: #1A1A2E (Deep Midnight Blue)
  • Surface: #16213E (Dark Navy Blue)
  • Text: #E94560 (Vivid Red)
  • Accent: #0F3460 (Steel Blue)
  • Muted Tones: #53354A (Muted Plum)

This palette reflects a modern, professional, and slightly futuristic aesthetic, aligning with the project's focus on automation and developer tools.

6. Signature Design Concept

Interactive Command Console Landing Page

The homepage of deep-prompt will resemble a futuristic developer console, immersing users in an interactive experience:

  • Visuals:
A dark, gradient background (#1A1A2E to #16213E) with glowing neon text (#E94560). The console will display a simulated terminal interface where users can "type" their inputs (App Name and Vendor ID).

  • Animations:

    • As users type, the console will animate the generation process in real-time, showing lines of "code" being executed.
    • A progress bar will glow and fill as the zip file is being prepared.
  • Micro-interactions:

    • Hovering over buttons will create a ripple effect in the accent color (#0F3460).
    • The "Generate" button will pulse gently to draw attention.
  • Transitions:

    • Smooth transitions between sections, with a subtle zoom effect when switching to the output summary.
  • Output Display:
Once the process is complete, the console will "print" the flavor key, folder paths, and the ready-to-run command, followed by a download link for the zip file.

This design will make the tool feel dynamic, engaging, and tailored for developers.

7. Non-Functional Requirements

  • Performance: The system should generate all outputs within 5 seconds of receiving inputs.
  • Scalability: The system should handle up to 100 concurrent users without performance degradation.
  • Usability: The interface should be intuitive and require no prior training.
  • Localization: Defaults to English (en) but should support additional languages in the future.
  • Security: All user inputs and generated files should be securely handled and stored temporarily.

8. Tech Stack

Frontend

  • React for the web interface.

Backend

  • Python with FastAPI for handling input processing and file generation.

Database

  • MySQL for storing user inputs and logs.

AI Models

  • GPT 5.4 for user-friendly responses.
