deep-idea

Introduction

The "deep-idea" project is focused on creating a comprehensive mobile application called "Sudip Trader." This app is designed for ICT/SMC strategy traders to maintain a professional, fully-offline trading journal. The application will be developed using Flutter and will store all data locally, ensuring user privacy and accessibility without the need for internet connectivity. This document outlines the system requirements for the "deep-idea" project, tailored for Partha Biswas in India, considering locale-specific defaults and preferences.

System Overview

The "Sudip Trader" app is a mobile application built with Flutter, designed to function entirely offline. It leverages local storage solutions such as Hive and shared_preferences to manage data without a backend server. The app is intended to provide traders with a robust tool for recording and analyzing their trades using the ICT/SMC strategy. The app will feature a dark, Material 3 theme, and will be packaged as an APK for Android deployment.

Signature Design Concept

The "Sudip Trader" app will feature an interactive galaxy map as its landing page. Each star in the galaxy represents a different feature or section of the app. Users can click on a star to open a feature card, drag to rotate the galaxy, and hover to highlight connections between features. This concept will be implemented using @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei for a 3D experience, providing an engaging and memorable first impression.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will employ a "parallax" interaction model, creating a layered depth effect as users scroll through the app. Decorative elements will move at different speeds to enhance the storytelling aspect, while real content will scroll naturally. This approach is ideal for creating a visually rich first impression that captivates users.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The application must operate smoothly at 60fps to ensure a polished user experience.
  • The app must be fully functional offline, with all data stored locally.
  • The APK must be compatible with the latest Android versions.
