1. Introduction

This document outlines the system requirements for a web-based platform that provides information about local music performances and band events in Dehradun. The platform aims to connect music enthusiasts with live performances happening in clubs, restaurants, cafes, and other venues across the city. Additionally, it will allow users to review and rate venues and performances, enhancing the decision-making process for attendees. The platform will also include photos of events to spark curiosity and nostalgia, but videos will be excluded. Audience members will have the ability to upload photos and tag bands or venues, making the platform more interactive and authentic.

2. System Overview

The system will serve as a centralized hub for discovering local music performances in Dehradun. Users will be able to view event details, including the name of the band, venue, date, time, and other relevant information. Venue owners will have the ability to list their upcoming events, ensuring accurate and timely updates. The platform will also include features for users to leave reviews and ratings for venues and performances, fostering a community-driven approach to event discovery. Event listings will include photos to enhance user engagement and curiosity, with audience members contributing photos and tagging bands or venues. Videos will not be included to preserve the nostalgic experience.

• Goals: Ensure accurate and up-to-date event information, manage venue details, analyze user engagement, and monitor user-generated content like reviews, ratings, and photos.
• Needs: Tools for adding/editing event details, managing venues, viewing analytics, moderating reviews, ratings, and user-uploaded photos, and ensuring the platform remains visually appealing with event photos.

3. Venue Owner

• Description: Owners or managers of clubs, restaurants, cafes, or other venues hosting live music performances.
• Goals: Promote upcoming performances or theme nights, attract more attendees, and monitor feedback through reviews and ratings.
• Needs: A dashboard for listing and managing events, tools to upload photos of performances, view user feedback, and insights into event popularity.

The platform will adopt a vibrant and engaging color scheme to reflect the lively nature of music performances. Suggested color palette:
