Introduction

The "cosmic-deepfake" project aims to develop a sophisticated SaaS platform, VeriSight Forensics AI, designed for the forensic analysis of images, videos, and documents. This platform will provide explainable forensic analysis using measurable forensic evidence, ensuring that every result is backed by concrete findings rather than random authenticity scores. The platform is intended for use by governments, banks, insurance companies, law firms, investigators, media organizations, and recruitment agencies.

System Overview

VeriSight Forensics AI is a production-grade SaaS platform that performs detailed forensic analysis of digital media. It leverages advanced machine learning models and digital forensic techniques to detect manipulations and provide comprehensive reports. The system is built on a robust tech stack including Next.js, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL, with a design theme focused on cybersecurity and digital forensics.

Core User Flows

  • Government User uploads media -> Analysis is performed -> Forensic report is generated -> User reviews report.
  • Bank User accesses dashboard -> Views analysis results -> Downloads detailed report.
  • Insurance Company User uploads claim documents -> Receives manipulation alerts -> Reviews evidence list.
  • Law Firm User downloads PDF report -> Reviews executive summary -> Uses findings in legal proceedings.
  • Investigator examines heatmap -> Cross-references evidence list -> Provides feedback for continuous learning.
  • Media Organization User uploads media -> Metadata analysis is performed -> Verifies provenance.
  • Recruitment Agency User receives document -> Analysis detects manipulation -> Alerts are generated.

Signature Design Concept

The homepage of VeriSight Forensics AI will feature an interactive galaxy map where each star represents a core feature or section of the platform. Users can click on a star to open a detailed view of that feature, drag to rotate the galaxy, and hover to highlight connections between related features. This concept will be brought to life using @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei for 3D rendering, creating an immersive and engaging user experience that reflects the platform's cutting-edge capabilities in digital forensics.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will employ a "parallax" interaction model, with layered depth effects achieved through scroll-triggered animations. Decorative elements such as floating particles and neural network effects will move at different speeds to create a dynamic and visually rich first impression. Internal pages, such as dashboards and settings, will adopt a "static" interaction model to prioritize clarity and ease of use.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system must ensure high availability and scalability to handle large volumes of media uploads and analysis.
  • Security measures must include JWT authentication, password hashing, rate limiting, CSRF protection, and XSS protection.
  • The platform must support seamless integration with third-party applications via API routes.
  • The user interface must be intuitive and accessible, adhering to modern design standards.
