1. Introduction

The cobalt-personal project aims to develop an AI-powered personal finance assistant application. This application is designed to help individual users manage their personal finances with the assistance of AI, providing a user-friendly and engaging experience.

2. System Overview

The application will serve as a personal finance management tool, leveraging AI to assist users in understanding and managing their financial information. The primary audience is individual users who own personal finance accounts and seek AI assistance for their financial management needs. The application will include features for self-service enrollment, secure login, and persistent financial data management.

2a. Product Interpretation and Delivery Boundary

The application will be delivered as a custom UI with app-owned identity management. Users will complete self-service enrollment to establish their accounts and will need to verify their identity upon returning to the application to access protected financial information. The application will persist user data across sessions, and the AI assistant will access this data to provide relevant financial insights.
