System Requirements Document (SRD)

1. Introduction

This document outlines the system requirements for developing a simple website for filing Income Tax Returns (ITR). The website will provide users with an intuitive interface to input their financial details, calculate tax liabilities, and submit their ITR online. The system will cater to individual taxpayers and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The website will include interactive forms to guide users step-by-step through the filing process.

2. System Overview

The proposed system is a web-based application designed to simplify the process of filing Income Tax Returns. It will allow users to securely input their financial data, calculate tax liabilities, and submit their returns. The system will include features for user authentication, data validation, and secure submission to the appropriate tax authorities. The website will be responsive and accessible across devices. Interactive forms will be implemented to provide users with a guided and user-friendly experience throughout the filing process.
